"Platinum End" delivers a gripping narrative woven with supernatural elements and psychological depth. The series, maintains a compelling blend of suspense and thought-provoking themes. The exploration of human desires, morality, and the consequences of wielding extraordinary powers adds complexity to the storyline. "Platinum End" excels in introducing a compelling first villain, captivating hero development, and thought-provoking moral quandaries. The initial antagonist creates a gripping dynamic, and the hero's journey is engaging, providing viewers with a strong central character. However, the series encounters challenges post the demise of the first major villain. Some viewers may find the episodes that follow lacking in intensity or direction, potentially affecting the overall pacing. Additionally, the climax might not meet the expectations set by the earlier parts of the series, leaving some room for improvement in the resolution of the storyline. Despite these concerns, "Platinum End" remains a thought-provoking experience for those interested in moral dilemmas and supernatural narratives.
I watched Platinum End because I heard it was from the same creators behind Death Note but I quickly detached myself from comparing the two.
The first half of the series was promising. Love, hope and self-discovery were standout themes within the first couple of episodes until crucial characters died and the writing went into heavy topics of death, depression and suicide.
Things started going downhill by the fifteenth to the twentieth episode and it was just me trying hard to get through the first season. There were moments I really wanted to quit watching and hoped it would get better than it never did.
I think they could of kept this one season, I am not sure if the are plans to have one and that's because I'm truly not interested in it.

The first episode does it job and gets the viewers attention. The concept makes you curious and waiting for more. First 2 episodes were interesting to say the least, hopefully it lives up to its expectations!
Anime is good but I hate it's MC toooo much, if you are like me who loves MC then plse don't watch because it's MC is too coward he is total fool, idiot , the truth is the most pathetic MC I have ever seen
I started watching show because I thought I will get to see new kind of light of death note aging but it is shame that MC of this show have no brain
Antagonist of the is like light but he is so bad that why I started to hate him too.
Death note Creators really stood up onto the expectation, they started all the mind games in that grippy 4th episode and the bgm and opening is just bomb.com, I really hope they would set the show on fire in the upcoming episodes.
