Director Connor Noble and Sabre Campbell, who respectively play Tom and Judy, began dating during the film's Pre-production process. After the first table read, the two began messaging each other and began officially dating during Pre-production. When Producer Aaron Ticen learned of their relationship during filming, he congratulated them and jokingly said, "You two are the second couple I know who met and began dating during a horror movie!" According to Ticen, The first couple he knew of was Paul W.S Anderson and Milla Jovovich, who met and started their own relationship during the filming of the First "Resident Evil" Movie in 2002.
