The story is a typical James hardly chase kind of story so I like the plot.
It has also been indianised. I wish the acting and graphics were a bit better.
Pros
Good story Good looking cast Plus an interesting twist
Cons
Bad acting specially by Prateik babbar. Bad animation (common India we need to up our game on crime graphics and hackers ) Bad comedy 🤣
Overall I would still watch it since it is a thriller.
Funny thing
How does Virkar sleep on the small ship and have six packs while drinking alcohol. He pretends and it's so obvious. But overall a good one time watch

It is a thriller with a straightforward story following all the formulas of the genre. To be more precise, it is on the lines of Luther. It is not a copy, but it is a routine line that one might have seen many times.
The opening of the series is instantly intriguing and takes us in to the narrative very quickly. We are then brought back to our senses soon as the tackiness take over. The one on one conversation between the inspector and his superior officer is an example. Then there is the pizza-eating forensic expert. The characterisation is not wrong, but the way it's executed is the problem. It is a visible formula in such thriller narratives involving police and crime. But, the presentation is where it all differs.
The second half of the eight-episode series is comparatively better concerning the story, but the persisting issues with tacky execution and lack of gripping quality never let us feel the impact.
The ending is alright and on an expected line. But, the interest is lost at that time. The feeling one gets at the end is that the whole narrative could be made compactly into a movie as a thriller. The extra length only highlights the weak suspense.
Overall, Chakravyuh is a routine thriller that has a decent premise. But, it fails to engage due to weak execution and writing. Give it a try if you like the genre and don't mind watching anything using fast-forward option.

The worst thing about this web series was Ashish Vidyarthi being wasted. Such a talented and legendary actor should have been given more space.
And good thing about the show? Perhaps nothing.
Chakravyuh is not actually a bad web series but pretty average one. It would take real effort to go past first couple of episode.
It's a story about serial murder and Virkar(Prateik Babbar) is a hot-blooded cop and is investigating the case.
Sadly the execution of the murder mystery is not done properly. Many scenes are too predictable. There were things present, characters etched well and couple of good actors but the execution falls flat. There were so many elements like hacking, digital currency which should have been dealt with better screenplay and writing. If properly executed, this web series could have been much superior.
The visuals in the web series seems dated to me as well as the body language of actors.
Prateik Babbar, the main lead appears so stiff and can hardly gives any expression. He tried so hard to appear different but is not totally convincing. He delivers an okay performance.

This thriller web series based on Piyush Jha's novel " The AntiSocial Network" is all about cyber crimes, cryptocurrency, dark web, date rape, murders and a poor mumbai cop, inspector Virkar ( a confused and bewildered looking Pratik Babbar caught in the middle of this zhamela).
Hey... before you jump to the conclusion that the series is trash, I would like to tell you that the series is actually very fast paced and decently engaging even with its flaws and predictability.
Babbar has a fantastic physique, but too much attention is given to his body and to be honest he isnt a great actor. Kunal Khemu did a much better job in the Web Series Abhay.
With something or the other happening in every episode, the pace doesnt slacken one bit throughout the length of the series . Also, Short episodes of around 30 mins each make it a good binge watch option.
Among the cast, Ashish Vidhyarthi and the late Asif Basra are good in their respective roles, however the rest including Simran Kaur Mundi are not so great. Casting is one of the flaws in this series.
All in all, not too bad as a one time watch ...adios :-)

The character vir is running from one pillar to another
The series is of 8 episodes and it is fully stretched with only dirty killings...the direction was just ordinary the story is nothing new
Pratik babbar could not carry the series in a lead role he was looking very fluppy and was walking like Robert some scenes he dint act and in some he has overacted
Watch it only if u have no other option
