One More Flip

Such a great movie. I even followed the entire cast on social media. Quality wasn't low budget. Actors played great parts. Should market more outside of the filmed area for mass exposure. Collab with other well known social media influencers for Max views.

I almost didn't watch the movie because at first the main character didn't appeal to me but as the movie went on the characters remind me of real people I knew from the past. The one dude he said he is not the target already it's probably right. They probably live in the suburbs and wear khakis and don't know anything about other lifestyles. To me the movie isn't stereotypes it is real life. There are a lot of twist in the movie that surprised me and two parts made me cry. Plus I ended up really liking the main character but I wish it had a different ending. You'll have to watch it to see.

I hated how it ended but the movie wasn't bad at all. The acting was good for the reputation that tubi has when it comes to black cinema. I like the storyline, though it was predictable, it was executed perfectly. The main character has a cute voice that i personally found to be fitting. The movie could've done better when it came to building relationship between the characters and audience but that doesn't change the fact that the main character was a sweetheart. Relatable in a sense that she wants what's best for everyone around her and didn't stop at anything to do what she could to achieve that.

I liked the story line, the film quality was good as well. For this genre of movies they did really well. Mena did great in this movie. I often watch hood movies on Tubi and some aren't as well filmed as this one, but I still watch them keeping in mind the budgets aren't that big- so what would you expect, paramount quality? This one was good. And screw Marco snitching ***.

Overall this movie was pretty good. I think it had a great poignant story in there that shines a light in reality. I gave it 8 stars because being a fan of hood movies this one was filmed pretty well. I've seen quite a few trap movies and the quality is sadly always really poor with a few exceptions. This one was good. I'd recommend to those who like hood movies. There was also a hood twist in there. I really enjoyed the main character Taj I think she held it down. I would love to see a second one to this!
