I was instantly hooked and watched both seasons in just two days. The characters and storyline captivated me, particularly Andrea and Daniele, whose relationship was refreshingly unique. The show is beautifully shot, with a stunning soundtrack that enhances every moment. The actors were phenomenal, especially the actor portraying both twins; his duality was so convincing that I often forgot it was the same person. The stories are distinct from anything else I've seen, and I was never bored, always eager to see what would happen next. I'm excited to see more from this exceptional series, and my fingers are crossed for more seasons.
This series speaks of a country that doesn't exist. A country where teens are free to express themselves and be whom they want to be. Yes it takes a painful journey to be free of stereotypes and society pre made gender roles.
I wish this Italy existed made by the bravery of its teenager but for sure the generation of today will be a beacon of a new hope.
The series.is made even greater by the outstanding job of its actors, especially Mattia Carrano who does the outstanding job of portraying 2 twins on complete opposite spectrum of gender identity and personality. The dialogues between the 2 of them are the miraculous act of a great actor and a great director.
The music is a fantastic representation of the mood of each scene.
The cliffhanger of season 1 end makes us want for more.
This is NOT a teenager drama but the depiction of a society that keeps renewing itself.

If you loved the beauty that is Skam you would love this and it's not surprising that it has the same theme as the creators of Skam Italy are behind this.. and I must say I love that this focused on queer and gender identity and I love the contrast between marco and andre... but let me just say that andre and daniele have my heart.. the way their realtionship was felt so authentic and I think so many ppl from the lgbtqia community can connect to andre and hoe he feels in this world and if u take away the gender conforms that society has placed on us you could connect to people on a whole other level.
I haven't wrote a review for a while but I'm so shocked (in a positive way) about the beauty of this series that I felt I need to.
I won't spoil much but as a father of a 13 years old boy I want him to watch it with me.
It shows teenage years in such realistic way without over dramatize but never being obvious either.
The acting is so brilliant. I've been living abroad for some time now and prefer English acting over Italian especially in dramas (often too dramatic in Italian movies) but the acting from such young actors is incredible. Mattia Carrano is amazing. Took me 3 episodes to realize he was both brothers (kudos to the director too).
Music is also fantastic.
10/10.

I love love love this show. If I had to describe it I would probably say: similar to an Italian version of Sex Education, but drama, not comedy, more serious, with even a hint of Euphoria maybe?
Anyways, it is a great coming of age series centered around identity themes, LGBTQIA+ and otherwise. It approaches issues in a sensitive and delicate manner, without being preachy or feeling forced. What I love is how natural it all feels - the acting, the story lines, the setting. Mattia Carrano is an obvious stand out, portraying two characters at once and doing so so compassionately, it makes you forget that you are actually just watching one person. Lorenzo Zurzolo and Chiara Bordi are also absolutely amazing, I have become a fan of theirs. But then again, the entire cast of young actors is a pleasure to watch and makes it easy to be drawn in and root for their characters.
Please please please let us have a third - or maybe even fourth or fifth or sixth - season of this compelling show.
