The screenplay lends the film the feel of unrealistic Bengali television serials at times. Overall, the film falls short of expectations.

Shankar Debnath, who played the role of Gosai Kaka, has done a great job, Ditipriya has played the role of Khuku, just like the girl next door. The director has tried to give a social message through the movie and it is successful.
