The Avon Lady

Acting, actors (human and otherwise), the settings - all excellent. Especially during these times where someone with an accent is to be feared, even hated, you can't help but to love Rosa and her spirit.

I am going to be on the lookout for more of Elena's work in the future, as her delivery is soo00o believable. It's not often that I smile along with someone in a video, but Elena compels you to be a part of the story. And there is so much story in such a short time-frame. (Not enough for a feature length film, but just right for this short, so we'll have to be satisfied.) And satisfied I was.

Elena Espiro is just fantastic in skin of her Rosa , the story is admirable, profound wise crafted scene by scene, the good customer, homosexual, flamboyand, kind, patient and generous, eccentric not last reminds smart way to use the cliches and the final is pretty at whole.

The great detail- the nice resemblance of Elena Espiro with Betty White and the fresh manner to use this. In same measure, interesting perspective about the status of immigrant and the try , at not easy age, to learn and practice English.

For me, delightful sounds fair to define this short film, for performances, for seductive perspective about Avon and, not last, for admirable good state inspired by it.
