I liked how this show was actually showing Carole's perspective. Tiger King glorified abuse of animals and made it more into a reality show. I wish there were more than 2 episodes in this series though.
From entertainment point of view, this documentary has much lower quality comparing to Tiger King one and two. There are no surprising turns, no colorful characters, no story lines. This documentary doesn't change my negative view of Carole. By the way, there's no content on her former husband's murder trial in this documentary. The new detective guy is really annoying. He wants audiences to believe what he has done is dangerous and risky. But in fact it's plainly easy. Just pay 300 dollars and using his phone to record the animals, which is totally allowed by the zoo owner. What's risky about that? One thing impressed me is how efficient Carole taking down her enemies. Just using drones to capture what is going on in Jeff's zoo and send it to USDA, she effectively destroyed Jeff. How smart!
But unlike Joe, Carol is a pain to watch. She's hollow, and I don't trust her at all. It is like watching Fauci. I can't handle listening to a fraud talk about how virtuous they are for more than an hour.
It was a gripping watch. My husband and I watched both episodes back to back. It left us wanting to see more. It's definitely worth watching, especially if you finished Tiger King 2 and looking for more content.
Love that it kind of shows Carole's side, but it focused more on spying on "the bad guys" more than anything. It shows that Jeff Lowe is a POS no matter whose side you're seeing. I wish there were more episodes to really make this something better.
