The show is surprisingly sweet and often entertaining. She is very honest and vulnerable about her life. The relationships with her siblings are extremely authentic. They seem to be the few people who actually listen to her & respect her feelings.
I was annoyed by the way Carter speaks to her at times though. He seems to really care about her but I hope he takes heed after seeing how it makes her feel.
Overall I think they truly love one another though.

Kathy Hilton is a straight up Narcissist that should support a traumatized daughter instead of making Paris' trauma about her! She is a also a control freak. She reminds me of my Mom!
I think Carter is a pretty good guy, but is a bit controlling. I think he is misunderstood a bit because he tries to guide her because she is disorganized and all over the place. My husband is disorganized and I have to guide him or he goes off the rails. There's always one person in a marriage that is stronger, and more focused, and can get things done. Long as he doesn't control her too much, he may be just what she needs.

Found this hard to get into unlike most reality tv which is easy to follow.
Paris is a sweet girl- lovely. She comes across as child like but switched on.
I found Carter extremely difficult to watch. He was wooden, false, unnatural and I don't think there is any chemistry between them. There is just something really 'off' about him.
The general premise of the show isn't bad, however it's too scripted.
I would prefer less Carter, more friends and distant family and more of Paris being her real self - the on / off baby voice is really really annoying.
She doesn't need to do that voice at all!!!

Paris' husband seems condescending and fake towards her. He acts like he has everything planned out and in control, but I don't believe him. My gut feeling is that he is marrying her for money. He has a bit of his own money, but nothing compared to Paris. I pray she had a prenuptial agreement.
After I saw Paris's documentary last year, I was so shocked. To see someone be so vulnerable, have awareness, and be willing to share that with the world was awesome. I saw her differently after that and started listening to her podcast because I really admired her change and growth.
However, I'm only 25 minutes in to the first episode as I'm writing this. What I have learned: Carter is a complete narcissist and reminds me of the guys she's been with in the past. Paris still talks in that high-pitched voice but mixes it with her actual voice, so I'm not sure what's going on there because in her documentary she described the high-pitched voice as her fake voice. Her sister is also a narcissist and is continuously critical of her. I felt sad when Paris felt the need to give her sister a compliment to kind of calm her down.
I have this feeling that this is going to be a very short-lived show. I see Paris in five years coming out with another documentary talking about how much she regrets doing 'Paris in Love.' I hope she gets these toxic people out of her life and surrounds herself with people who genuinely love and respect her.
