- CuriosidadesWas originally created to compete in Campus Movie Fest 2010 for The University of Alabama in under one week. Director/Writer Nicolas Mahone wrote the script on day one of the competition. The film was shot in three days and edited the entire day following production.

I had the chance to see this short film at the 63rd Cannes Film Festival where it was featured at the Short Film Corner.
Director Nick Mahone takes a simple premise and makes a funny and entertaining short out of it. The film uses stop motion and simple visual effects to good use to depict a no-holds-barred war between the board games, chess and checkers. All sorts of madness ensues as the simple pieces of plastic grow a mean streak and start brutally destroying each other. The audience watching this film found it funny and imaginative. This film incidentally was shown on the same day as my own film 'Levity Xero Error Minus1' at the Cannes Film fest. A good start with King,Me, no doubt the director will go far as a filmmaker.
