Bigfoot: The Lost Coast Tapes

We all know 90% of Bigfoot films are absolute garbage. Most of them I can't even get throught the first 15 minute mark. Surprisingly this one kept my attention throughout the whole film. Out of all the Bigfoot films I've watched, this is one of my favorites. 7 stars.

I came across Willow Creek the other day and was pleasantly surprised. Deciding to see what other bigfoot horror is out there, I came across this. I've watched more bigfoot films in the last few days than I can count and this one surprised me. I'm lukewarm on found footage films, and this one is a slow burn, but it does a great job of building tension and the characters aren't as awfully cliched as most are in these sorts of films. They definitely could have done more with a bigger budget, but they did well with what they had. They made the smart choice to go with "less is more" when it comes to effects. We dont get many shots of monsters, but there are some impressive death scenes. If you're looking for a monster heavy found footage gore fest, you may be disappointed, but since so many similiar films dont pull off their creatures well anyway, they made the smart choice to focus on suspense and universe building. It looks like there's another project listed. I'm interested to see it!

Not the best Bigfoot movie and certainly not the worst. I generally liked the characters. So many of these FF movies have people who are flat-out annoying and I can't wait for them to die. The twist in this movie is truly a twist that I didn't see coming.

A interesting take on the cliche big foot found footage style movie. Could have been way better than it was. A number of things that made it interesting are never explained. Worth a watch though. It's such shame so many these found footage flicks have such potential and then fall short. The biggest fail of this was the actors who put on a textbook display of overacting. It's really quite awful in a lot of scenes.

Yeah,. yet another Big foot movie, which was made in the same year, almost came out at the same yime as well.

I am Clad I saw the other before this one.

I actually enjoyed this one much more then Bigfoot County (2012), This had bit more of a plot to it and even filmed better.

I found the start of the movie very funny, there were really cool funny jokes that made me laugh out loud.

There were very likable characters in this movie, you care for at all times,

the movie dose not break any new grounds, in this found footage genre.

I found that this movie flowed really well, with a lot of action in the movie, there were some good decent images of the creature, I say!

But we never fully see the creature at all but we do see bit of the creature, we never really know if ig a who or what.

There some decent effect in this movie, which I really liked and there were some bloody moment in here and there, but don't expected a bloodbath or anything really gory.

I maybe I liked this movie more then I should ,cause of Bigfoot County (2012), which is much worse then this movie.

I going to give this movie 4 no, I give it 5 out of 10
