College Hill: Celebrity Edition

Horrible role model - cry baby - spoiled brat behavior Everyone else was fine- oh and Stacy Dash, what a joke. The entire show looks like a throwing together hot mess - a Dreamdoll seems to got her fame on her looks with minimal talent - india Love, a total bot of a celebrity like seriously - it's just eye opening to media has done to these ppl - the nerve of them belittling college on this show - it's funny and ridiculous but sad when you look at it in retrospect - ray j had to google a simple vocabulary word because he didn't even understand what they were saying- I do feel for him it's sad 😢

I decided to watch this on a whim on Netflix. It was entertaining and much better than expected (exception: Ray J) but Big Freedia stole the show for me. Omgosh so in love with her personality - what a beautiful, kind, honest and loving person she is! How you live your life is nobody's business but let me tell you I would take a world full of Big Freedia's over the ugliness among the general population.

I loved to see what appeared to be true growth for the celeb participants. I am not a reality TV watcher, TikTok person or influencer influenced - so most of these folks I'd never heard of. It was very good; I like that most of them learned something new as far as education, and definitely learned something about themselves.

Big Freedia though - yes. A person I'd want to be friends with, who would bring goodness and light.

I fell in love with Big Freedia. She was the House Mother and showed the most common sense and compassion. I praise her attitude and professionalism and maturity.. Also very impressed with Nene It had been a while since I have watched her. She was so much more mature and professional than what I remembered.

Stacey.... WHATEVER. Over time, she has torpedoed her career Now, Ray J. What a JOKE. He needs to learn to shut up. "We have 2 ears and 1 mouth. Listen twice as much as you talk". He is a freaking child who never "really" accepts responsibility. He is an embarrassment to his race, culture, gender and humans in general. Clearly needs therapy and meds... immediately. Delusions of grandeur. Please SHUT UP I was disappointed in the murder of the English language from all of the celebrities. No excuse. We all were taught grammar starting in grade school. Be better.

This first season was really inspiring, I must say. It displays the opportunities you might lose out on by not enrolling in an HBCU. I loved that the topic of African American studies was a recurrent one. They were able to learn more about our origins and history and how the sacrifices made by our ancestors have made us lucky to be here today. India Love resonated with me since I'm not very outgoing and feel nervous when I have to present in front of a crowd. It was comforting to know that I wasn't the only one who endured that and that my own mind was actually the source of my anxiety rather than anything else.
