I loved this little science fiction/horror thriller by director Ron Chevarie! The film stars him and his wife Jan and is shot in the traditional found footage style with no added music or stingers. There are two aspects to this movie that really made it work well for me, the fact that you couldn't help but endear yourself to the characters and care about them, and the wild animated effects that take place in the finale. There's a great payoff at the end when all hell breaks loose that I wasn't fully expecting. Most found footage movies offer up a slow burn and then at the end there's a small payoff and I find often times that payoff isn't enough for me to have invested so much time. Here we get more excitement than we bargained for and the FX feel effortful and exciting! I highly recommend The Who Incident and look forward to seeing more original content like this from the creators in future!
We need to be able to start leaving negative scores as some films just really need it.
Absolute and I cannot put the word in I want to use as it will block this review.
Everyone who has left a positive comment is either employed or a family member of the cast and crew. The acting is abysmal, the syrupy sweetness of this old hippy couple is enough to make your teeth rot. The "creatures" only come towards the end of the film and up till then you have to put up with a banal plot line and as for the whatever the things are supposed to be at the end I've seen scarier things in Scooby Doo.
I can only hope that those making this pointless film learned from it and will not repeat the same mistakes.

It starts as your typical found footage movie. Happy couple going about their every day lives, prepping for the big anniversary party.
Then things start to get a little weird, not over the top or dramatically, but enough to make you think this movie is going in a particular direction. As the days pass and the party begins, the unexplained incidents pick up in frequency and intensity all culminating in a climax I totally did not see coming. To say I was surprised would be putting it mildly. Like I said, it started out like every other found footage movie but it certainly didn't end like one.
It is a slow burn to start but once it gets going it is absolutely worth the wait.
I would recommend for a fun little film for a night in.
Just don't go into the woods after...in the dark.

While I appreciate that effort that any indie film maker goes thru to make something creative, yikes this was a tough movie to finish! Incredibly terrible and really doesn't make any sense. Story follows an older hippie couple that start filming their daily life for a few days leading up to their anniversary party. Strange events and some really bad CGI begin to happen. I don't know what else to say...
Positives: Free on Tubi Only 77min The couple seem nice Great bonfire
Negatives: Story Dialogue Acting CGI Overuse of the word "Darling"
It was free on Tubi or Fawesome. 77min and released 2023.

I just loved this movie.
It's obviously an independent made by friends and family... Ron and Jan are brilliant and make me kind of think, that they may actually be as lovely with each other in real life as they are in the movie.
Some cool unexpected effects, with a very surrealist, what the heck let's go for it feel.
Jan is naturally witty, as is Ron.
It feels like video footage most of the time... the animation is great..I particularly like the stop motion, the CGI is cool too.
Okay, this is not for everybody.. I mean its not super horrifying but it does become nicely creepy, but not all at once.
The final scenes, (no spoilers), are well done with a simple, straightforward and understandable ending that pulls it all together nicely.
Oh yeah.. don't stop watching until after the credits, there's a nice little touch at the very end.
I just liked it, I think that's obvious... normally I'm a hardcore horror fan.. very picky and always looking for plot holes, but with this film, I suggest, just make a nice cup of tea or coffee, grab your favourite snacks and wallow in a little bit of sci fi loveliness.
