It's little wonder the anti believers are so abundant. With garbage like this on our screens who could blame them. The whole show has absolutely no credibility what so ever. I wonder how much money Nick Pope has made from this UFO phenomenon? The moment he shows his face on these programs you know any hope of convincing the non believers is lost, and as for the so called (female) physicist the way she constantly snaps her head back and forth made me wonder if she was watching a game of tennis. Give this a big miss and don't waste your time no matter how much you may enjoy the subject.
I perfectly understand why this programme is being attacked by some. I like Craig Charles and find the show entertaining, but it often seems corny and contrived. More generally, these Blaze offerings vary in credibility. As for Nick Pope, I first became aware of him in a Daily Mail article a number of years ago, regarding the Rendlesham Forest incident. I subsequently bought his very interesting book. Since then, however, the former MoD man has gone further out to the fringes. When he says that we are now entering a more open era, with mainstream recognition, I wonder if he is too optimistic. Sure, the Pentagon actually admitted last summer that there are things flying in the air that they don't understand, but then, eventually follow that with; "no evidence of alien origin." I would love to see some of the believers in a genuine engagement with smart arsed sceptics like ITV's smug newsman Tom Brady, but it's not going to happen. The phenomenon has needed a serious BBC/ITV documentary for a long time. Their silence is deafening.
The jumping all over the place was jarring, but the information given on these accounts was actually quite through, certainly more thorough than the "phenomenon" or " I know what I saw", cuz they actually ask questions and don't just believe the witnesses accounts,
I actually wish there were more UFO shoes with this rigorous format- it's just a shame about the jumping with the noise that accompanies the jumping.
The first episode alone was extremely compelling, i couldn't find any information about this account on Google and it's perhaps the most dramatic encounter I've ever come across. That alone is enough to watch this series.
Like I said I wish there were more series like this that tried to scrutinise these encounters without just believing them. Definitely doesn't deserve a 4/10.

Nearly every single cut is accompanied by a 'stylised' flashing negative frame and irritating digital click that are impossible to ignore. It's supposed to give the impression that the footage was edited with super-secret covert military spy technology but it just looks cheap and causes a headache. Unnecessary.
Wanted an easy watch and a chuckle but from the limited amount I could endure the content appears to pander to 'I do my own research' types by having 'witnesses' (unburdened by pesky evidence) ramble freely about their unfounded conclusions. This is why no one takes UFO enthusiasts seriously even though there is an interesting conversation to be had about the topic in general.
I don't know whether to feel sorry for the astrophysicist or not, maybe she didn't know what she was signing up for or maybe the gig just paid really well, but I truly hope her legacy isn't spoiled or defined by video-conferencing lunatics in a garden shed - sorry I meant secret command bunker.
If aliens were genuinely exposed to present-day humanity there would probably (sadly) be no thought provoking discussions or philosophical awakening, it would just encourage mentally unwell basketcases to come forward claiming to have telepathic connections with them, sparking a new subculture of lonely outcasts to rival flat-earthers, and exposing our inability as a society to help those who are struggling to find community and acceptance in reality.
Or you can believe the positive reviews suggesting that the critiques of this trash are operations to hide the truth.

I cannot believe Craig Charles put his name to this absolute rubbish. Just another UFO series based on absolutely no evidence, photos, film or newspaper reports. I could go on and say I saw Jesus working for Uber and I think they'd believe it! Give this a huge miss unless you need a good laugh.
