OK, so this should really be more about the misadventures and character development about the three friends. Because the whole premise about aliens and the "fight" against them only kicks in the last third of the movie. This movie's synopsis should really be about the comedic relationships of the three best friends.

And the whole point of the alien seems really tacked on for no reason, because the movie was going perfectly fine without it. It's all about these 3 friends who are constantly down on their luck and how things go from bad to worse from day to day. That in itself would have been an adequate premise for the movie.

That being said, it's kind of a funny and well-shot movie. It's just all the action scenes are terrible and the alien part is silly. The movie is still a fun time, but I feel that I was heavily misled by the description.

The idea sounded solid, but the execution was lost somewhere. It's not that it didn't keep me moderately entertained for the run time, but overall after the credits ran I didn't know what type of movie it was. It's not a comedy or horror or action. I'm just not sure how to describe it. Watchable but forgettable.

The movies of recent seem to be plummeting to new depths, bad acting, stupid plots, you know how bad this is going to be in the first 2 minutes.....and then it gets worse. The only reason I can see that this movie was made, was for some kind of tax dodge. Not funny, not engaging just very poor film making from it seems, people who have no clue. Just awful.

Save your time or watch a test pattern instead, you will thank me for this warning.

To begin with, let me say that this is a watchable movie and that's it. There is nothing special here that would push this film above some other films. Up to more than half of the film, the story moves drastically slowly and what's worst is that it's not interesting at all, I'd even say that something similar to a drama is going on in the background a that time. On the other hand, after more than half of the film's duration, the story moves too quickly, in a very short space of time they place a science fiction character and the concluding part of the story related to that genre and theme. For a science fiction film, there are too few visual effects, the ones that exist are at a solid level. You can watch it, but it's nothing special!

After I watch this movie, I couldn't rate. So I read reviews. Very mixed results, like I felt after watched. The movie has definitely 'African humour' inside and I believe some didn't get it. It is cliché at some angles (story), but yet make you smile. If you expect Hollywood style filtering, multi-camera angles, action pack etc. ;well do not. Budget limitations could be recognized.

Actor performance was really good. Sometimes actors overly exaggerating certain traits. I think it maybe confuse with over acting, I think it is performed deliberately, to make fun of the characters.

The movie could be found childish/ geeky, family oriented but it will throw harsh reality to our face in sugar coated form.

I gave 8, because it is not an epic, it is not rare- pure art purposed and shouted. However, it is fun to watch. Grab some pop-corn, relax and enjoy. I did.
