What happens when three of America's most annoying YouTubers head to Australia and go monster hunting? Not much that's very interesting. The first 30 minutes of this supposed found footage film is as irritating as anything you will likely ever see because even though the footage was supposed "found" it has ridiculous effects and graphics edited in. How convenient. Then our bumbling trio "loses the trail". Try looking behind you, we can all see it on the screen. Found footage is still effective when done properly, this does nothing properly. In fact, I found myself rooting for whatever mythical thing that lurked in the woods to completely eviscerate these morons.

I don't understand the point going out of your way to state these characters are American when they clearly aren't, they can't hold the down the accent any time they speak for longer than 5 seconds. The movie is set in Australia, just let them be Australian or whatever they actually are (all of them saying "Hellaur" instead of "Hello" for example was a big giveaway).

The annoying youtube-style editing and effects was certainly a choice, not a good one apparently. I didn't mind it that much, it sort of sets it apart from most other generic found footage offerings, but it seems to be a big turn off for most people.

Aside from the accents, the acting was fine. But it wasn't even a little bit scary. I've seen worse things on Tubi.
