Breaking 60: Challenging the Impossible

May not have the perseverance to search for this 45-minute "prequel" if not for Four Trails (2023). Just treat it as a prototype of the final product, like the short film "Whiplash" (2013) directed by Damien Chazelle before he got enough funding for the main feature in the following year.

If Four Trails is a fine applejack, then Breaking 60 is the unfermented cider waiting to be frozen. The skeleton is there: interesting characters, Andre Blumberg as the narrator, the difficulties faced by HK4TUC participants, and so forth, but less dramatic, more down-to-earth editing, and most important of all, less emotion and hardship captured by the smaller crew.

In case if you are one of those Four Trails lovers, you should give it a try, as it would definitely make you appreciate the 2023 movie more.
