Pollo Loco

Pollo Loco was a well crafted film with potential to be a great, full film if executed correctly. I have followed Derek's journey of Pollo Loco from the start and have become more curious the more I saw about it on TikTok. I decided to give his film a shot and I do not regret it. I would've never thought a TikTok creator would have made such an eye-catching film. My girlfriend and I had a blast watching but we did share one opinion which lowered our rating towards the short film. The acting performances from Derek, Jorge, and Emily were a fantastic watch and could see lots of potential for their future as actors. On the other hand, Giancarlo's performance was fine but it wasn't believable. I believe there could have been a better casting choice for a character of Pollo Loco. Besides not looking the part, Giancarlo wasn't giving a menacing portrayal or the feeling of a crime boss either. I would've loved for a deeper dive in the other characters' stories instead because they were better written and more interesting and believable. Besides that, the film was amazing overall and would recommend it to others.

Well to get started, Giancarlo is amazing at acting. The story how it held you in suspense, and how less was more was so vital in this short film. Hands off to all the actors. One thing I will say is Derek would've been nice to see him get more on the crazy side And really harnessed that killer. Very good well written lines just fell short of execution, a little with the henchman. Amazing for a first film would like to see how it would've been if Derrek just got a little more in his face and a little bit more slow down and villain esque so I would say 10/10 writing production 8/10 acting so good.

I don't normally watch short films but after watching this and really enjoying it's probably time to watch great cast great story I would highly recommend it.i been following Derek on tiktok for a really long time and he was talking about watching a short film and i told my wife we need to watch this shes not usually into horror/ suspense movies but she really enjoyed it. I wish the story was longer and it was a full length film and it needs to be in threatres and nominated for a oscar and many more films they whole starting cast needs more roles i would love to recommend this movie to the world.

This was an awesome short film. I was definitely surprised on how good it was. The score of this was very well done. This will definitely surprise people. Especially with the twist at the end. No spoilers though. If you want to see it go watch it for yourself. Everyone did a very good job on there part of the film. Especially Derek (aka Danny) and the other actors and actresses. This was definitely worth the wait to watch. I did enjoy watching it too. The cinematography on this was good too. Thank you to Derek (Danny) and everyone involved with this. This was very enjoyable to watch. This had me interested from beginning to end. Thank you all. I give this film a 9/10!

It was an incredible journey throughout the film the characters were amazing the acting was outstanding I loved it so much that I want to rent a movie theater and play it in the big screen. Derek bauder is an amazing actor and director and screen writer I am very excited to see his next project. The twist at the end was crazy made my jaw drop I loved it. I wish it was longer I could've watch that for hours it definitely deserves the awards and nominations it got Giancarlo was incredible his acting was amazing every scene with him was incredible I felt his pain though his acting. Overall the film was incredible and I loved it.
