Chapter Three: The Turnbow Trap

The Turnbow Trap is one of the more fun and action packed episodes of the series.

Every character is involved, as well as new ones. Holly's fantasy story is becoming one of the most unique plot lines. Will and Robin are surprisingly taking centre as the best duo of the season.

Overall a great fast paced episode, does end abruptly but the final reveal came sooner than expected and was very exciting.

I gotta admit that the ending took me totally off guard. Besides that, the rest of the episode was terrific! The last fight sequence was especially great, and I found the direction as a whole to be a lot slicker than the previous two episodes. The Turnbows are some of the funniest characters in the entire show.

Excellent episode! It 100% delivers on the Stranger Things charm. I got lots of Season 1 vibes from this.

I was really sceptical when they said it would mainly focus on Hawkins again after the crazy location jumps of season four - but they really know what they're doing. And still there's room for action (El & Hop in the Upside Down) and the trap, new bonds (Will & Robin) and funny moments between Dustin & Steve. Erica's scene of bringing the pie to the house was probably my favorite thing about the episode, if it wasn't the huge plot twist in the end :)

"Episode is quite good, the tension it builds is great, the rating it has is deserved, very good episode, it highlights the tension and drama, and the ending doesn't give away what's really happening, very good episode from start to finish, Mike and his plan are phenomenal, it has a touch of comedy and leaves an open ending for the next episode, I feel it's not better than the previous episode, but it's still solid, developing each story separately, Eleven and Hopper's and the rest of the group's"

I can do not want to include any spoiler but it will be hard to explain without saying exactly why, this has been a massive payoff from the past two episodes and season 4, my original compliant was that season 5 so far felt good vibe wise but it was predictable and repetitive, well not any more not with this one, they really out did themselves with how 11 and all the others act, and there is a huge plot twist or not really huge but sure will deliver a smile towards the end of the episode, every scene makes you ask more inquisitions than you have answers and ensures massive setup without being boring, also they made multiple jokes that just hit the mark, overall best episode so far and not because the others were bad this one was just written to perfection and would definitely watch it again even when the show is over not just something spilling towards the end.

Pt. Holy's actress is insane so far for such a young age it always charm when she is on screen.
