Nothing new, everything same old formula movie , even fighting scenes are unbelievable, in a fight using water to find and other fight using chilly powder they way the shot is too bad, direction team should have concentrated on something new to add to the plot of the story to make it interesting and not just believing inthe stunts will make a movie worth to watch totally media core. Wasted my time, can't sit in the end fast forward the end section and there is nothing to write it for 600 words so like the move my review too is not good, next time hope director vijay will come up with a good full package.
Mission: Chapter 1" is one of the worst movies I've seen in a long time. It's really a garbage film that's not worth anyone's time. From start to finish, it's boring and pointless.
The story is so unoriginal. It's the same old plot about stopping a villain with no real twists or excitement. You can see everything coming from a mile away. The script is lazy, and the whole thing just feels recycled from other, better movies.
The pacing is terrible. The movie is way too long and drags on forever. Scenes feel disconnected and add nothing to the story. Instead of being exciting, it's just slow and dull, making it hard to stay interested.
Amy Jackson's acting is really cringe. She's the main actress, but she can't deliver a believable performance. Her acting feels forced, and she has no chemistry with the other actors. It's painful to watch her try to be dramatic.

An engaging pure crime action thriller,Director Vijay seems to be completely out of his comfort zone in delivering a Real Pongal winner...Even though the plot was predictable There was never a moment that took eyes off the screen...With his long time associate Gv prakash supportive bgm the movie keeps you glued until the end...
No unnecessary songs are added & characters are well placed indeed everyone gave best performance very connected to story with the help of flawless screenplay...
Arun Vijay fits exactly for this role and have been careful in choosing scripts that's getting him yield good results over the past years...No added goosebumps moments is a minor set back to the movie...
The two ladies in the lead Nimisha & Amy Jackson dis apretty decent job in elevating the movie... The film wants to completely ride on its action elements so no tracks had been added for comedy or romanticize & director was crispy enough not to even reveal the heroine face too...
Overall a decent one-time watch that's way better than other Pongal releases.

Engaging Pure Crime Action Drama. Simple story but Good Screenplay. Director AL Vijay came out of his comfort zone and gave his best work. Arun Vijay Sir, well presented his acting. Amy Jackson, Nimisha and Others artists suited perfectly to those characters. They performed well. GV Prakash Bro's BGM kept us connected throughout the film. Stunts choreographed nicely. Everyone's work glows well in terms of technical aspects. Absence of songs and unwanted scenes found plus. Slightly predictable and less twists were some of the things that made to lose the grip of the film. Overall it was a good and decent entertainment to watch along with the family. It looks to be a good franchise. I hope this film does well at the box office in the upcoming days.

'Guna must rescue his daughter from a terminal illness while also protecting his country from terrorists in London' would be a one-line summary of Mission (Chapter 1? Seriously Vijay?).
A mix-match of Thandavam, and many Hari films, we get an 'I have seen it before' kind of film, except the part, where it is mostly shot in London (or Ramoji Film City, who knows). 'Mission' must have solely relied on North Indian or Andhra markets as the scope of the patriotic-action-adventure genre of films has become limited in Tamil Nadu. That being said, it is not a complete waste of a film. Vijay's efforts in story-telling have not gone unnoticed, for there are no musical numbers to interrupt the story with vivid characterization, where supporting characters get to have their spotlight moments - which they spoil with their lack of intelligence but we will come to it later. The stunt is cool, especially with an action sequence with Nimisha at the end of the film that I really enjoyed.
Amy Jackson was a pain to watch on screens, especially her Tamil. Vijay should understand that it is okay to let the actors speak dialogues in their languages and later dub that in Tamil, instead of telling an artificial story where everyone speaks Tamil. Typical cliches of commercial cinema were excruciating to watch, even for my father. Guna fights ten people at a time, Guna falls in the canal but somehow doesn't drown, Guna must always take the spotlight and be the only character with common sense, Guna, a person with a sharp intelligence somehow misses his purse now and then, Guna doesn't see a snitch from miles away but can smell out all the other criminals, and so much more!
A stereotypical Punjabi 'friend' who also speaks Tamil, too many dialogues that are cringe, an unwanted flashback, a weak antagonist who is short of manpower at all times, a stupid child that doesn't live up to its hype, snitches being snitches for about 70% of the film without getting caught - you could list the drawbacks of Mission: Chapter 1 in a complete roll of toilet paper and still you might have some points. In my opinion, Vijay should have trimmed Mission around 90 minutes and the storyline should have been sharp.
To conclude, Mission might be embarrassing to watch for some, and exhausting for many, but it is still a decent attempt. 2.5/5.
