The story picks off when the protagonist decides to help a stranger and gets caught in a murder after murder case. The characters are all connected and looks too contrived. The reveal does not bring any surprise, and predictable at places. The motive of antagonist lacks punch, and is only focused on twists rather than a compelling narration.
The Director in the pursuit of surprising the audience made it difficult to comprehend and it just appears twist after twist with poorly established characters. Satish character and auto driver character are not needed for this storyline, but just kept for so called comedy relief!!

Plot could have been way better and movie direction could have been more systematic . Lost interest in the movie through mid way. Gained little bit attention when Srikant was shown on screen but the role failed to provide any justice to Srikant's character.
Throughout the movie I had a messed up feeling as if too much of information is being passed rather than building a sequence or building the character.
Logics in the movie did not make any sense and the fight scenes looked as if I was watching a 80's movie.
Bhumika did a good job and carried her role very well.
It is a one time watch movie and I would not recommend anyone for this movie.
Kudos to the hardwork and dedication shown by the cast and crew members to keep us entertained unfortunately this movie failed to impress me.

There were some promises early in the movie deserving the one star rating. As the plot became more and more convoluted, the movie becomes bigger and bigger mess! I had some hope that it will all make sense somehow in the end and God I was so wrong!
The plot was thin. Had lot of holes all the way. Add the seemingly endless co-incidences and it is a recipe for a very poor movie! This movie is ripe with such impossible co-incidences where all the characters happen to be at the right place at the right time with the right weapons and right reasons!
I liked the ending because it was the end of the excruciatingly painful movie!
God, I wish I did not see this!

Just finished watching this movie on Netflix. I quite like the director's previous outing (Iravukku Ayiram Kangal) and the protagonist's previous outing (Kalaga Thalaivan).
Coming to Kannai Nambathey, I was actually quite impressed with first 90 minutes of the movie. Unfortunately, the same clarity in writing is not maintained in the last 45 minutes.
Had the last 45 minutes of the movie handled differently, the result would have been a little better. However, if you are into crime drama thrillers this a very good watch for the weekend.
Quite liked the performance of Vasundhara Kashyap. Snall role though.

This movie is crazy like there's many characters and cars but it all just doesn't match up together like the start and 15 minutes later are completely different. While the director probably imagined that it would all line up together by the end but it didn't buy I mean well some of it did. But it's mostly just people doing crimes which leads to another person doing a crime and all that and the plot gets lost by the one hour mark..I can see this being a better movie if the actors had done a better job and if the movie wasn't confusing yet it was ...Some parts are so bad like 1. A car just flips over because of a gunshot through a window. And 2. A guy takes a phone call through the wrong side of the phone like what..overall,utter garbage don't watch if u haven't...
