Thugs of Ramaghada

Just your regular, average thriller flick with one obvious plot "twist", if you can even call it that. Good action scenes though, watch it if there's nothing else you can think of and you wanna kill a couple hours. This film was clearly a one man show, with Ashwin hassan successfully holding the viewer's attention throughout the story with his general likeability and admirable moral standards. Overall, even though it likely won't stay with you for very long, the film may be just the right amount of laidback popcorn entertainment for the casual viewer with some time to kill. Happy to watch in theatre.

The action is top notch, and the stunts are insane. While it does feel like a long movie at times, the end is as intense as intense gets, and I feel the pressure every time I watch the movie, even knowing what's coming. This movie draws watchers in in the best way possible. Overall it's exciting, intense, a great addition to the series and a must see for action fans. Karthik Maralabhavi His direction is just as good, with incredibly filmed action sequences which are genuinely thrilling and breathtaking. Ashwin hassan and Chandan raj incredibly committed performance is perfect and the death defying stunts.

Goes by in the entire movie which isnt exhilarating, every moment of the movie is pure excitement. Great job by Chandan Raj and even greater job by his co actor Ashwin Hassan. Also one of the finest and action packed movie ever created. It's applaudable how a action movie manages to tread the fine line between being condescending towards its own audience and being satirical towards the public at large with absolute finesse. Enough twists are revealed at the regular intervals and the script keeps the viewers glue to the screen... The climax twist is ultimate and the message is most welcome...Despite its many narrative flaws, Thugs of Ramaghada ends up being an impactful watch because of the social message that it carries and ultimately portrays with nuance and subtletyy. One of the best action movies of the last years. Perfect pacing, excellent direction and great performances elevate the movie from start to finish. Each scene flows smoothly into the next, rarely pausing to catch its breath. The camera whirls majestically around each chase sequence, and the fight scenes pop off the screen. They're brutal, well-shot and coherent, which is not always the case with big budget action films. Overall, this is an exceptionally satisfying movie-going experience. It's one of the best films of the year and one that will stick with you well after leaving the theater. Ashwin is superb.
