'Ab Dilli Door Nahin' is inspired by the story of lakhs of youth who aspire to become IAS and IPS by giving UPSAC exam. Thousands of students from villages, towns and small cities come to big cities with the dream of becoming IAS and IPS. Many get trapped in the glare of the big city, and many succeed in fulfilling their dreams by going beyond it. The story of one such youth is 'Ab Dilli Door Nahin'.

Ab Dilli Door Nahin' is inspired by the life of 2006 batch IAS officer Govind Jaiswal. This film is a story based on Abhay's struggle to become an IAS and the challenges faced by him.

The film's hero Abhay Shukla (Imran Zahid) is the son of a poor farmer from Bihar who comes to Delhi for the first time to remove the poverty of his home and fulfill the dream of his parents. The world here is new for him. Here he goes through many good and bad experiences.

Here he falls in love with the landlord's daughter Neeti (Shruti Sodhi). The love story of Niyati and Abhay has also been shown well in the film. After this there are many ups and downs in Abhay's life. But he soon realizes that Niyati has only played tricks on him. He starts hating her. At that time Abhay gets frustrated with life and starts deviating from his mission. The issue like reservation has also been shown in the film. But how he finally qualifies UPAAC and becomes IAS with his sheer determination and determination, the whole movie is worth watching.
