I'll be honest-I went into Black Creek thinking this was going to be a respectful nod to all of us who've stuck with Cynthia Rothrock through the years. A little nostalgia, a couple of signature kicks, and a reminder of why she's a legend.

But she went above and beyond.

Yes, the nostalgia is there-those fight beats, that no-nonsense stare, the quiet intensity before the storm-it all hits in the best way.

But what I didn't expect was just how much grit, power, and heart Rothrock still brings to the screen. This isn't just a tribute to her past roles-this is a legit action film with real stakes, solid performances, and a leading lady who hasn't missed a step.

The fight scenes are raw, grounded, and tight-no flash just for the sake of flash. Every move feels earned. She's not just here to show up-she's here to remind everyone that she still sets the standard.

And let's not ignore the emotional depth she brings to this one. There's a weight to her character that makes you lean in between the punches. She wears experience like armor-both on-screen and off-and it shows.

So, to Cynthia: thank you for not phoning it in. Thank you for showing up and still giving it your all. And thank you for continuing to be the Lady Dragon we all fell in love with.

Final verdict: 9/10 stars - a powerful return that doesn't rely on the past but earns every minute of the present.

I really enjoyed this movie great Story, cast and awesome Fight scenes, Cynthia Rothrock was back in action like she never left the Fight Choreography was definitely on point for this movie. Definitely would recommend others to watch this Amazing movie, and Richard Norton was cold blooded he definitely played the Villian Role well. This movie had a lot of Grit and Dark undertone but the story had much meaning too it, also the cast was great you can tell they were a real Family on screen and that they got along well during the movie how the acting technique really messed together. On screen. I saw the movie on Amazon Prime, it definitely a must see for sure no doubt.

This film is filled with intense training scenes, fast paced attacks, and a cast of highky skilled, and talented martial artists, Don "The Dragon" Wilson, Keith Cooke, Benny "The Jet" Uquidez, and many more. The late Richard Norton gives a stellar performance as Rose's nemesis and their fight scene is something you do not want to miss. Choreographed by the amazing Mike Moller the battles in Black Creek will have all action fans on the edge of their seats. The drama is heart pounding and the performance by Eliza Kelly as Rose's sister is nothing less than award worthy. To top it all off, the talent of Cynthia Rothrock shines through in both her martial arts skills and her savvy performance as a gunslinger with a sharp wit and good heart. This film will be remembered, and we all look forward to Black Creek 2.

I just wanted to say wow - Black Creek was absolutely fantastic! I was blown away by the energy, the action, and the heart behind it all. Cynthia was phenomenal, as always - powerful, graceful, and completely captivating on screen. And seeing you alongside Richard Norton again was such a treat! The chemistry you they share never fades, and it brought back so many great memories of China O'Brien.
