The show follows several people who have decided to look for love outside the USA. They use matchmakers who are local to the countries where they're looking for love. We watch them iron out the kinks and navigate the dating scene while trying to understand a variety of matches who may or may not understand what they're talking about. It sounds confusing because it is. I found myself wondering if anyone took the time to find out about the cultures of the countries they are trying to find a mate in. The major thing I cant figure out is how they intend to communicate once the matchmakers are gone. Very entertaining at times in a Jerry Springer kind of way.
Interesting enough show, but I know one of the contestants personally; therefore know without doubt that the editors and producers took a great deal of the comments viewers see out of context. To the point where the general impression is significantly skewed. Any quirks in contestants are emphasized to the point of making them seem like idiots; other times, small positive traits are made to look like they are saints.
Then again, that is general practice for reality television, right? Have to make it entertaining, have to make ratings, have to name the big money. These contestants were all paid to go abroad with free matchmaking services, paid to date and travel, so of course they had to sign to be alright with however they were portrayed.
Social media is cashing in, the producers even fabricated some scenarios. The line between fact and "reality" is blurred; scenarios might not be entirely fabricated, but they are strongly "nudged" in the direction the show producers want, not allowing for a very natural progression.
Again, this is a given in this day and age for reality shows, but that doesn't make it acceptable.

The show intrigued me and have watched it twice but you don't even see the date long enough to even say you watched it. Two many matches.... I don't know of I will continue this show because again, nothing new the next week as it should be. I mean, only 10 minutes with each couple. Come on... way way too many couples. So far I've watched this show for 47 minutes and I have seen Harold and his date at two minutes oNew parts. They are finally in his hotel room. Was on about 4 minutes and I'm sure I will not see them again tonight. Everything else about them was old. They looked at a couple of photos and too pecks on the lips. He walked her out and he kissed her again and drove off. Not much to go on for a whole week waiting to see what happens. Maybe 3 couples would work for the time allotted for this show.
Coming from a moroccan woman, the way they are styreotyping us and using us is really discusting. The palestinian woman went to morocco to pair young morccan women with old white dudes who has a certain idea of moroccan women and fetishizes us. Next time she should pair them with middle eastern people and leave us alone!!!!!

There is so much wrong with the characters in this show, I don't know where to begin. I have watched 4 episodes of this series, and after the first two, I can tell you, almost every single one of them have some deep personality defect that prevents them from having any kind of normal relationship. They can't even carry on simple conversations, are egotistical to the extreme, are totally delusional about what people from another country outside the US are wanting in a mate. I hate how they keep pushing the narrative that foreign men and women are better than Americans. No. No one from anywhere wants goofballs, stupid, selfish people or naïve rubes for mates.
