SB19: Pagtatag! Trailer

Sb19 is known as the PPOP KINGS in the Philippines. The trailer would tell you that they are really worthy to be called Kings. This group has been a game changer in the music scene in the Philippines.

This five-member group (Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin) really knows how to capture people's hearts, especially their fans. The trailer was actually for their comeback but it felt more like a movie. The storyteller in this trailer is Pepe Herrera, a known theater and movie actor. He is very effective in narrating the story, I also noticed how all the other talents there acted so well for the video.

As a fan, I really look forward to the easter eggs in the trailer. SB19 and A'TIN (their fans) are known to bond over the easter eggs. Sb19 drops it in their videos and A'TIN looks for them and gives their interpretations. It's fun to crack them because we can see the connection of it from their previous works and some are clues to future songs.

I was totally surprised that it was a 5-minute long trailer because I didn't feel that it was long. It teased me as to what concept they are going to have in this Pagtatag EP. I'm looking forward to the first song released this May 19th and June 9th for the EP.

Your dedication and hardwork captured in the Pagtatag documentary is worth emulating by any start up artists. You are simply amazing, talented artists. Congrats Mahalima!

I would like to see more of you in the global stage because you deserve the recognition . Your talent was honed by pure hard work and determination to your craft. Every Filipino should be proud of you. Truly OPM and PPop is now on the rise and you have to take credit for really paving the way. A'Tin will always support your undertakings because we all love you not only for your talent but more because of the human beings that you are.

SB19 is a Filipino boy band that debuted in 2018, the pentad-consisting of members Pablo, Stell, Ken, Justin, and Josh. They were trained for 4 years by ShowBT Philippines, beginning in 2016. They are the first Filipino and Southeast Asian act to be nominated in Billboard Music Awards for the Top Social Artist category. They are also the first Southeast Asian act to enter the top 10 of Billboard Social 50 weekly and year-end charts. SB19 promotes its music as part of Pinoy pop (P-pop)-a popular sub-genre of Original Pilipino Music.

SB19 is not just your simple group/band of boys. They are really serious honing their crafts - creating new things with their skills and talents. They really embrace bringing new sound to OPM - which making an identity as PPOP.

They paved the way to other groups so it won't be that too difficult for them. SB19 is a living testament that when you believe in your goal for as long as you have the courage to do it and you're doing something step by step, everything will soon fall in to places.

Moreover, this trailer gives a lot of symbolism which reflects their own unique way to communicate to their fans. I'm elated to see them evolve more. Looking forward to their good music - again.

My honest review, Jed Regala should feel guilty for not giving his all, it's true that he is not around during most of the filming but as for me I can feel that there are still some good screenshots rather than those that are already posted on YT (I BELIEVE THERE ARE MANY GOOD SHOTS THAT ARE AVAILABLE) and even the story telling could have been better (I MEAN IT IS REALLY GOOD), if he is around or his team to do the technical shots and what not. ITS VERY RAW TO THE CORE because even in this movie, SB19 gave their all, and is very vulnerable, if not for their very raw reactions this movie will not be felt, if you have watched all SB19 contents in YT you will know what I mean, and seeing those in the movie I have to say Jed what the heck?!, is this your all?! I tell you if Justin directed this, THE SHOTS AND STORY TELLING will be much better! But i am giving 5/5 for SB19 genuinity!

CONCLUSION WE NEED NETFLIX BECAUSE THERE ARE SCENES THAT ARE WORTH REPLAYING!!!
