The movie description completely gave a false idea of storyline. The movie doesn't have a different story, no suspense or action, all we see a cop going down the lane with alcohol and depression But we do hope that it gets better, he will make smart decisions or solve the case and will be appreciated in the end but we just keep on waiting and waiting. Still wondering what the makers have made..

Randeep Hooda was the key factor to see this movie but it was really not clear where was movie leading to....the story doesn't have any turns it keeps on revolving on some general factors. An utterly frustrating waste of time. You will end up getting as frustrated as Randeep was in this film.

Randeep Huda face on the promotional poster was a draw. But man it was a disappointment personifed. It had so much potential with plots, sub plots, characters and mystery and intrigue. So much potential was wasted and ended up being a boring slob of a job. Supporting character are flat, utterly predictable, totally sleep walking slowly through this yawn fest. Unnecessary closeups, useless sequences, and arbitrary dialogs add to this cringe of a movie. Why would a cop delay a murder case so close to theirs own heart is beyond comprehension. Only Sapna Pabbi had some meat in her role and she did it some justice.

Very slow movie though the hudda acting is the only atraction of the movie....since the starting its a very slow boring and aimless..nowhere you feel thrill suspence or excitement...if you are a ranbeer hudda fan only you can tolerate this movie otherwise there is no attraction to see this movie. Sergeant is a really good movie with great acting by cast and great cinematography and direction. I personally enjoyed hooda's acting and cinematography of the film.

A different way of telling a story like in segments which shows all the steps hooda's character had gone through to get his life back.

I don't know what it is with jio cinema movies they are all set in overseas . Like blind movie of sonam kapoor was set in glasgow, scotland and this one was shot in london, united kingdom. Eaither way the cinematography and color grading of both these films is amazing i really loved watching them.
