Just after the character say's "The engine's perfectly fine." the CC subtitle adds: 'The propeller fell off' before he continues to speak again.

When I stumbled upon this 2023 shark movie titled "Blind Waters", of course I had to watch it, as I have something for sharks. But needless to say that I wasn't really harboring much of any grand expectations, as the majority of shark movies tends to be dubious and questionable movies.
And then when the movie started, those to dreadful words appeared on the screen: The Asylum. Yep, this was another movie from The Asylum, though it wasn't their archetypical mockbuster type of movie. Regardless, I still opted to watch "Blind Waters", as some movies from The Asylum actually are entertaining.
Writer and director Anthony C. Ferrante put together a fair enough script and storyline for the movie. Sure, one can argue for whether or not it was generic, but then again, isn't it sort of limited just how much you can differentiate a shark-themed movie? With that being said, then I found the storyline to be entertaining.
The acting performances in "Blind Water" were fair. It wasn't a particularly big cast ensemble, nor was it any recognizable actors or actresses on the cast list. But I will say that the cast ensemble actually put on good enough performances to carry the movie.
Visually then "Blind Waters" was somewhat of a mixed bag of nuts. Some of the special effects, whether it was CGI or practical, were quite good, but on the other hand, then some of the effects were rather questionable. But all in all, it was actually not too shabby.
I found that "Blind Waters" proved to be a fair enough shark-themed movie. Sure, it wasn't a particularly outstanding or memorable shark movie, but it was good enough for a single viewing. The movie's cover/poster, however, set up the movie to be a bit more exciting than what writer and director Anthony C. Ferrante actually delivered.
My rating of "Blind Waters" lands on a five out of ten stars.
