If film can change society then this is the one of the best film ever I watched. Film is so realistic and good executed by the makers. Seriously Assam is one of the best place of india and many film shood make from there. Every actor give brilliant performance and also the background score.
All songs mind-blowing. This film should promote more so that everyone know about the film and realised the importance of the low what the makers stages to the government and the low maker.
I'm wondering why all activists are silent on this and not promoting the film . My request to the team kooki to promote the film in mainstream media and podcast channel.

"Kooki" is nothing short of a cinematic triumph. Directed by Pranab J Deka, with a compelling story and production by Dr. Junmoni Devi Khaund, this film brings to life the heart-wrenching journey of Kooki, a young girl navigating the aftermath of a brutal gang rape in Assam. This film tackles a burning societal issue with a raw and unflinching approach, making it a crucial watch.
The performances are truly exceptional. Ritisha Khaund delivers a deeply moving portrayal that resonates on an emotional level, adding significant depth to the narrative. The entire cast and crew deserve immense appreciation for their dedication to telling such a powerful story.
"Kooki" goes beyond mere entertainment-it's a call to action, urging viewers to reflect on justice, societal norms, and the resilience required to overcome trauma. This film's bold narrative is both a testament to the strength of the human spirit and a sobering reminder of the work still needed in our society. Bravo to everyone involved for creating a masterpiece that will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact.

One wet night, three sexually frustrated men rape a sixteen-year-old girl. There was one more guy who did not rape her, he was the only one who could have protected her, but he chose not to do anything. Her family, doctors, cops and the media supported her; the offenders were swiftly brought to justice. But the victim is still miserable. Why? Because rape is not a one-time act. Rape has not just damaged her private parts, it has harmed her life, her convictions, her self-worth and her aspirations. Yet in our country, rape is not regarded as the most "odious" crime. #Kooki is a poignant drama with good performances by the entire cast. This film needs your love and support, do watch it in theatres. Rating 3.5/5.
The movie Kooki seems to have a compelling and intense storyline, addressing a difficult subject matter of love, trauma, and violence. However, the execution falls short, likely due to budget constraints and lack of experience among the cast. While the message is strong and certain parts of the film manage to engage, the overuse of drone shots and exaggerated performances by 80% of the actors create a disjointed viewing experience. These flaws overshadow the emotional depth the film tries to deliver. With its uneven direction and amateurish acting, it's difficult to stay engaged throughout, earning it a 6 out of 10.
Great work by the team kooki. Seriously small film give more to the society.gang rape. Films on rape often focus on courtroom drama or investigations. But is justice enough? Kooki challenges this, showcasing the lasting scars a survivor carries. In Assam, Kooki is gangraped and left for dead. As she heals, loved ones offer support, SP Mandira Singh (Dipannita Sharma) and Dr Priyadarshini Pator (Ritu Shivpuri) rally around her. Then a journalist Navnita's (Devoleena Bhattacharjee) debate on and a video Kooki uploads begs the answer: Why isn't rape considered heinous like murder? This question forms the film's core.
The narrative paints Kooki's pre-tragedy life: a teenager's world that has loving parents-Dhananjay Mishra (Rajesh Tailang) and mother Suman (Rina Rani), best friend Rashmi (Nancy Singh), and a fledgling romance with Saptarishi (Bodhisattva Sharma). Post-assault, the focus shifts to the emotional and psychological devastation. Along the way, it critiques the nation that has had many amendments but is still stuck in the same place where it fails to protect its women.
I can't say more go and just watch this movie.
