Ice Fall

Short summary: cool action scenes, good villains, native Indian's culture lessons, and forgettable.

I don't know why. Either Joel Kinnaman is a very good actor or he is just too forgettable. He just appeared on screen then disappeared, then forgotten. It's weird, he has a superhero body, very enigmatic stare, but he kept himself melting to the surrounding of his films and disappeared. His 1 memorable acting job was Altered Carbon season 1. I don't remember he has any memorable scene in Suicide Squad, both films.

But dang, Danny Huston was a genius in playing memorable villain. He knows how to make his mark memorably.

Icefall is an okay film with good action scenes, good idea od storyline. Unfortunately, limited exploration of the story and possibly limited budget failed to make Icefall as a memorable film.

In conclusion, it's a waste of time and money.

Waste of time.....bad acting.....bad directing....bad everything..... total garbage......Premise edit An indigenous game warden and an arrested poacher have a race against time to find millions of dollars from a crashed airplane in a frozen lake where the hell they brought those actors from ????????

It's a basic one time watch cheapo action film. Great for background noise while doing something else. Don't expect anything more.

Don't expect good acting, directing, or story. Or any sensible events.

Every few minutes I was shaking my head at how ridiculous something was. The Characters do the most stupid things. Some apparently managed to steal 20 million dollars, or run a gang of thieves, or survive in the alaskan wilderness, despite being so ridiculously dumb. It's completely unbelievable. And there is a lot of stuff just shoehorned into the movie to further the plot that otherwise doesn't make any sense.

But it has some bang bang, and some running, and some betrayal, and some fisticuffs. And you get to see some snow.

This film is awful. It should be renamed Compy, as in terrible composited visual effects. It is ugly to look at, artificial in feeling and the screenplay is a disaster. What a joke. The box office says it all, amateur, childish nonsense.

Yet another movie that portrays women as imbeciles in law enforcement, while thinking they look tough. The female park warden is ridiculous. She's written as an idiot, rude, entitled, dangerously empathetic and just plain stupid.

The lead male character is a bate and switch. He's weak, unskilled and boring. Oh, so boring.

The villains are ridiculously stupid, poorly written and childish. Just dumb.

The directing is terrible, the noble poor Native American narrative is problematic, since it's just liberal propaganda.

I can't believe anyone would finance this trash. Proof Hollywood has no idea what the hell they are doing and is overrun by talentless hacks. Just pathetic.

Big fan of Joel K since robocop remake and other films of his but I for one being indigenous Australian and watching this movie was pretty good. I really think his acting has come a long way over the years and teaming up with the game wardens chemistry was pretty damn good. 👍🏽 Deadly movie if it resembled cliffhanger haha but overall it was not a bad film, another one to add to the collection of weekend movies to watch again for sure! For all you haters out there with no sense about cultural beliefs and values go take a jump into and icefall 😂
