The Last Round

Ahmed Elsakka made a great TV-Series .. his acting is beyound great, Asmaa Abu-Yazid, Ashraf Abdelbaki and Ali Sobhi.. all aced their parts and retunred wth an original story of a on old boxer, trying to fullfill his life dream after losing everything he aspired to be.

The stories mix-up together with drama of an abusive father, a puzzled ex-wife and an angry daughter.

I'm happy to be the first reviewing this TV-Series, and i'm sure it will make huge success, i'm so far at episode 5, and the story can't get better.

Soundtrack, cinematography, locations and the dialgoues are made with huge effort.

It's a real struggle that should've been aired so many years ago. I'm glad to be watching this series, and so happy for Ahmed elsakka's performance.. he masterd what a lost father could feel like. He's also facing so many mental demons. He's portrayed all that in his role. Also a great shout out to Ahmed Fahmy in his appearance who really made an impression.

The Last Round is a deeply moving series that masterfully blends themes of fatherhood, personal sacrifice, and the painful reality of Alzheimer's disease.

What touched me most was the beautiful connection between Dr. Yahya and his daughter. His love for her drives everything - especially his determination to fulfill a promise he made to her. Even as Alzheimer's begins to cloud his mind, his devotion shines through. The show captures the emotional complexity of a man who fears losing his memories, his purpose, and ultimately himself - yet finds the strength to return to what he loves most: martial arts.

The series does an incredible job portraying the inner world of an Alzheimer's patient - the fear, anger, sadness, and confusion. Dr. Yahya's struggle to hold on to what matters most is both heartbreaking and inspiring. His desire to be remembered as a champion and not as a fading shadow of himself adds such emotional depth. It's not just about winning a fight in the ring, but about winning back his identity and dignity for the sake of his daughter.

Every moment is raw and real. The acting, especially from Ahmed El Sakka, is phenomenal - you can feel the pain, the love, and the urgency in every scene.

A must-watch. I cried. I reflected. And I admired the strength of a man fighting battles inside and out.

I really wanted to give this serie a credit but it lacks everything!! How does he win these fights seriously! Even the director chose to put so much effort to make it like yalla aho ksb wow wow! No seriously how so! This not a body of an MMA fighter nor these trainings.

Even the drama with his daughter is poorly written, the only positive side is his relationship with Aliaa, u can feel the gravity of it but other than that it's a waste of time I love Elsakaa but i this is the time he must carry on his life The only unwasted opportunity on such production is paranormal serie for Ahmed amin on Netflix.

One of the best TV series that I've watched, and I am very happy to see my idol, Ahmed El Sakka, back with an outstanding performance. I hope he continues to choose good TV shows and movies. Also, Coach Tambbi (Ashraf Abd Al Baqi) is a great actor; I can't imagine anyone else doing this role as well as he does.

I feel like this TV series is something like Ahmed El Sakka's life story. He was the best in the past, but as he got older, other people became more popular than him. Now, he needs to redefine himself and get back to the top.

I am eagerly waiting for Season 2; there are still many stories that need to continue.
