Great direction by Raja D, acting by all the actors including the leads- Sailendra Smaantray and Niladi Patra. The production house AaoNxt is definitely making a solid impact in Odisha.

Something you should feel proud of - we had around 10 children of the high school age. Most of them brought up outside India and not all can speak Odia. However, all those children thoroughly enjoyed the movie and some even loved it. This is a great compliment that we have ever received as organisers. Take a bow team Dashama. Great job !!

Set in a Humble and Country side background of School Life. Typically showing the 10th Class Journey, which justifies the Name of the Movie " Dasama ". ( The Odia name of what we call Daswi Kaksha in hindi/ 10th standard in English).

4 friends and Their Classmates leading us through the entire session of a curricular year with shades of emotions and feelings.

Wisely Tapping on the Nostalgia Nerves of the audience watching the movie. You go on a ride with all of them from the 1st frame itself. Odia or Non Odias everyone can relate mostly to the narration.

No stardom is over powering the story or screenplay. Odia actors Sailendra Samantray, Akash Hota, Funny Pratik, Nilakhi Patra, Xonty, Jyoti, Arman,Sushant,Rippon,suman all of them Fresh in the acting arena has actually worked for the young and creative Director Mr Raja D.

Music is making this Journey even more beautiful. Said to be the 1st Musical Cinema of Odisha, it actually have cracked the musical connection too. Audience go numb with the melodious background music and fabulous songs. Kudos to Anurag Pattnaik, Gaurav Anand, Singers of Odia industry.

Comic Timing and Expressive Youthful Portrayal of Scenes after Scenes have actually made the 3hrs story a cake walk. You will laugh and cry equally. Wait for the Climax to Hypnotize you.

What's important is, It is a Flexible and Free Story coming from the not so famous land of Ollywood. Released in Odisha in Odia language and Projected to be released Pan India soon + Association of an OTT release too awaited.

In my view Dashama is a film that not only entertains but also educates and provokes thought about the socio-cultural dynamics of rural education in Odisha. It is a poignant reminder of the simpler times of childhood and the foundational role that school days play in shaping individuals. This movie is a treasure for those looking to revisit the nostalgia of their school days through the lens of Odia cinema. I never studied in rural school but used to hear from my father. I felt as if I was living his schooldays and felt proud of my Odiya culture . The performances by a mostly young cast are commendable, bringing out the innocence and earnestness required for such roles. They manage to evoke a sense of nostalgia for viewers who have themselves grown up in similar settings or can relate to the universal themes of childhood and schooling. It was my first meeting with my Odiya family and believe me I loved it . Thanks all for making my day .

This movie refresh memories of school days with very beautiful realistic narration. It demonstrates the close bonding between school students and their journey through ups and downs. Newcomer actors gave their best and acted superbly to win the heart of the audience across all age groups. Some scenes are very emotional, heart-touching, funny, thrilling, and it leaves a imprinting impression on the audience mind. Akash hota, Sailendra samantaray were outstanding in their performance along with Rabi Mishra and Armaan Mohanty. I would recommend all the movie lover especially odia movie lovers to give this movie a try.
