simplicity as basic virtue

The first impuls is to define it as a profound beautiful film. The motif is the touching - admirable simplicity defining it scene by scene.

Divorced parents. The children living, for holiday, maybe, with father, fisherman , a man trying to understand his son and communicate with his deaf daughter.

But the things are complicated by refuse of mother, in new relation, to accept the visit of their children.

The end is more than touching- it reminds the significance of essential things defining each of us and the great perspective about life and family.

A film provocative first for its lovely simplicity and wise crafted tension. Not last, inspired performances.
