This had to be one of the stupidest premises for a Hallmark movie ever! Who in their right mind would ever believe this story? The acting was horrible, the snowstorm special effects weren't even believable, with the sun shining during the snowstorms, with all of the highways being mysteriously devoid of any snow at all. The writers of this monstrosity obviously did some serious drinking before they hatched this abomination, and I'm surprised that Hallmark even wasted their time filming it. I hope that they will reconsider ever showing this again, but I'm sure that they will unfortunately keep doing so.
Like in many other cases , the first temptation is to be ironic about this type of film. Sure, all is predictable and the acting is pretty decent and the snowflakes photos are just beautiful. But the portrait of rival, the girl and the snowstorm are not the most inspired ingredients.
So, for me the film is saved by supporting actors, especially John Nightingale and his costume, his carols band and , not last, the house of Wayne.
Sure, not high expectations but few charming scenes and the romance who, finally you must accept this, is the only matter thing.
So, the perfect snowflake story . And the generosity of a rich man as kick for seductive, agitated and succesful love story after some...adventures.

"A snowflake never falls in the wrong place."-Teagan
Teagan is a teacher and photographer who has a Christmas photo exhibition at her friend's gallery of snowflakes...only it's not a complete set, she is missing the elusive twelve sided snowflake. The twelve pointed snowflake is created when the atmospheric conditions are just right and two six pointed snowflakes collide. When an art collector wants to buy the entire collection and fix up the community center, but only if it is a complete set, Teagan goes out into a storm in a snowplow with an old childhood boyfriend, Noah. Noah is now a widower and single dad.
It was fun to see the snowflakes, but I thought the whole character of Susan, the competitive photographer, was unnecessary and detracted from both the story and the romantic aspect. While I like the two main leads, I felt the romance in this film was rather weak and makes it not a recommendation to fellow romantics.

Yes, your typical Hallmark a couple gets caught in a snowstorm plot. But the twist is a photographer is given the task to get a photo of a rare 12 sided snowflake in order for an art collector to purchase her work, which is a tidy sum that will help the community. Actor Marcus Rosner plays Noah, a friend from her childhood, who helps her on her mission. Marcus Rosner is hot, hot, hot, I'll watch any movie he's in. Rebecca Dalton is Tegan, the photographer. There is good chemistry between the two leads. People complain about the shoddy special effects regarding the snowstorm, come on folks, this is a simple Hallmark movie. Give this movie some grace its a sweet enjoyable romcom, better than most Hallmark movies..
Not good.
The previews definitely didn't thrill me, but I've been proven wrong before. However, that didn't happen with this one.
The actress is not a favorite of mine. Every movie she is in I don't enjoy her character or acting. This movie wasn't any different.
The actor, I don't mind, but they had zero chemistry, and the storyline is just ridiculous. Many aspects of this movie were irritating. The so-called villain rival photographer, the lack of snowstorm equipment, and the forgotten camera hurt my head.
This is not a rewatch for me, and it really was tough to get through the first time.

- CuriosidadesIf only using a macro lens for extreme close ups were so easy. Depth of field gets so shallow that using mechanical support is necessary to achieve a stable focus.
- Erros de gravaçãoAbout 25% through the movie, Susanne comes around the wall in the art gallery, and she says to Charlotte, "It's beginning to look a BIT like Christmas!" But watch her mouth, and you'll see her say "LOT" rather than "BIT -- "It's beginning to look at LOT like Christmas!" (the song title). Perhaps this was changed during the film's editing because it might violate a song copyright.
