Traumatika

Before you find the "one", you may have to get a few more ... just to be certain. And the movie may have some flaws - though it does try to over shine them with humor. This has an issue with .. well being funny one minute and then going ... really out there. That is violence - and quite brutal one. We don't see much of it and the movie makes clear that it's not entirely ... human we get.

The effects are well done and we get back and forth timeline wise ... which kind of may throw some off the movie ... but I think the movie does a good job. Great effects and a nice cameo by AJ Bowen too ... also has a few surprises along the way (the cringe worthy stuff included ... just write it off as "charm" or whatever) ... there are better horror movie obviously ... but this is fun too.

I discovered TRAUMATIKA at GRIMMFEST in Manchester as the audience from the festival talked positively about it. Same director as "TWO WITCHES" so I knew this one would be interesting.

I've been thrilled by this one that explores the complexity of a child nightmares that becomes reality. It's really scary and disturbing.

I wouldn't be surprised if this director would direct a studio film one of these days.

The jump scares are effective and the malevolent presence in the movie will absolutely scare you.

Nicely done and right on time for spooky season.

Can't wait to see their next project and this team is definitely a good one to follow!
