An interesting short film that has a quite pleasant premise for horror fans. Its essence, creativity, and simplicity make it a short film worthy of admiration.

Sam Evenson once again surprises with a very remarkable production that entertains at all times, with that tension of terror present in every scene, accompanied by solid musicalization.

"MORA" has brilliant camera angles, in addition to highlighting those sequences between scenes with the present and the virtual. All that aspect of AI is astonishing. The special effects are well executed and don't feel forced like in other short films of the genre. With just 12 minutes, this story manages to surprise you.

Tim Torre as Cody is a great choice; the actor reflects that uncertainty, discontent, and general expressions that accompany the plot. "MORA" can easily be terrifying due to her appearance and quite striking features.

The short film reflects that rawness and essence of gore, making its narrative about AI and everything related to the images on screen shine. We have an amazing graphic scene with worms.

Emphasizing the excessive use of AI is more than evident, in addition to reflecting the consequences it has on a worker when they are replaced by it. Avoiding or sidelining communication with the people around you.

The Search for the Mysterious Woman is a haunting, unsettling journey into obsession and the blurred lines between reality and artificial creation. The visuals are deeply disturbing, with AI-generated imagery that feels disturbingly real. The atmosphere is thick with tension, drawing you into a world where nothing is as it seems. Performances are strong, particularly the lead's descent into madness, which feels authentic and intense.

However, the pacing is slow at times, allowing the tension to build, but it can feel overly deliberate. Still, this slow unraveling adds to the overall sense of dread, making every moment feel significant. The film leaves you with more questions than answers, sparking reflection long after the credits roll. It's a haunting experience that sticks with you, leaving a sense of unease long after viewing.

Well, what can I say except that Mora is a truly horrifying short film that sends chills down your spine and takes away your appetite. In this short film, we follow a man on a journey to uncover the truth behind a gruesome urban legend-much like Candyman, but this time set in the digital world, where the entity only appears on screen if the right type of prompt is entered into an AI image generator.

The deadly creature, Mora, is a malformed, bloody, half-rotten woman who consistently appears visually similar in AI-generated images-something that should be impossible. She is drawn to images depicting dead bodies, decaying flesh, and maggots. And sure enough, the film delivers all of that, so if you have a weak stomach, this might not be for you.

The acting is solid, and the visuals are downright horrifying. I couldn't even watch all of the close-up shots of grotesque imagery because they were so disturbingly realistic-a testament to the film's high production quality. Additionally, the film introduces clever ideas about what could happen when reality and the AI-generated world-with all its glitches, like extra limbs-collide and merge into one.

I definitely recommend Mora if you're looking for a quick but impressive dose of horror.
