As a fan of Marathi cinema, I had high expectations from Ek Daav Bhootacha, especially given its veteran cast that includes stalwarts like Makarand Anaspure and Siddharth Jadhav. However, this movie turned out to be a colossal disappointment on all fronts.
The film heavily misuses the title of the legendary Ek Daav Bhootacha (starring Ashok Saraf and Dilip Prabhavalkar). The original is a classic, filled with wit and charm, while this new version fails to deliver even a fraction of its magic. The direction is subpar, making the film feel like an uninspired slog.
