Aside from the fact that it's so good to see something unique on tv (hopefully this will change, as there are only so many recycled tropes one can enjoy on repeat), this series made me laugh out loud in every episode. And even with shows I love, that is not a common reaction for me.

Far from the snowflake reputation much of the trans community have unjustly earned, the series is daring, bold, unfiltered and unprecious. The main character, Liv, in Jordan Gray's own words, is 'a bit of a d-ckhead', just like anyone else.

I, for one, am extremely appreciative of productions that give us viewers something different and wonderful to experience. And for those of us with open minds and a love of creativity, it's a balm for the soul.

I hope this production is the first of many of its kind as our society matures and learns to co-exist peacefully, as we are meant to.

Great characters and absolutely full of laughs.

Jordan Grey is a phenomenal comedy talent and I'm sure we'll see a lot from her in the future, no, I'm sure we will.

A sitcom you can watch time and time again, the best I've watched since Friday Night Dinner, binged the whole thing until the early hours. I had seen the Comedy Channel version , which was great, but this is a huge step up again from that. Like you'd expect with a bit of Nick Frost, but not just him, everyone delivers.

Looking forward to season 2 dropping very soon.

JUST WATCH IT!!

Jordan Gray is amazing playing her quirky egomaniac character. The show is very silly and easy to watch whilst doing other things, the comedy can be slightly low brow at times but it works with the ridiculous premise of the show and for her first sit-com is a true gem. The banter with the flatmate is top-notch and the whimsical shenanigans throughout the show just made me giggle the whole time. I like how the storyline centres a trans character without making it her whole personality and the other characters are also diverse but feel like real people all the same. The episodes are a good length for a quick laugh at the end of the day.

I wasn't planning on leaving a review when I came on n IMDB. I knew this show will be review bombed but I hope people are able to see past that and give it a chance. Clearly it wasn't made for children or families so anyone talking about it being inappropriate is being redundant. The humor is dark and crass like a lot of the best British sitcoms. The writing is clever and quick and not worried about offending anyone. Has a great supportive cast and a terrible wig. I hope it's able to grow in a second season but after seeing the score on here I won't hold my breath. Excited to see more of Jordans writing though as she clearly has my sense of humor.

Some people will never be satisfied. This show is being boycotted - but it is a far funnier, self aware, and accomplished comedy than the mobs on the fringes who are review bombing it want you to believe. Overwhelming, it's those who, depressingly, predictably, see it is a morally "good" thing to undermine a show that is supporting a trans writer/performer simply because Nick Frost is in this.

Nick isn't JK Rowling. He is, if anything, demonstrably neutral by taking jobs in both camps. Punishing Jordan's show to get at JK, who has nothing to do with this series, is clearly mad. But apparently punishing someone in the space you claim to support somehow passes as fair play...

Regardless of your views or stance on that matter, this will make you laugh, and it is worth your time finding out.
