Shaky but really tries
This is cute safe clean comedy. But the stories dont actually have a conclusion. He got only stories not jokes. Situational comedy is very risky since...we werent in the Situation so if you stick w that for extended period of time u really sound tone deaf.
Also he COULD OF made a greeeeat bit about being an ugly comedian so his fans r there for him unlike matt rife. He really could of lifted himself up tapped dance on matt rife and brought up body positivity. He really really failed that obvious lay up.

Not my cup of tea, you know
Seems like one of the new batch of comedians giving it a good try but some jokes hit, other offend and many miss which is the nature of comedy but for me his delivery was way off and one thing that always distracts me from any joke or conversation or interview is a person who says " you know " in every sentence. It takes me out of the joke every time.
Heart Wrenching in the Worst Way.
This comedy show was outrageous. I support making comedy about your own struggles, but they things that Caleb talked about were not his to make jokes about. Suicide? Death of a family member? A concentration camp? This was not an edgy show, this was simply obnoxious.
This show should have come with a warning. As someone who has had to suffer finding out about a dead family member over the phone all alone, I could never imagine making jokes about the situation. If comedy is how he gets over his trama, that's fine, you do you, but that should be kept to friends, not broadcasted to the internet without a trigger warning.
Furthermore, the fact that he made such jokes after going to a concentration camp should be abhorred. I have personally been to concentration camps, and was living in Germany when I found out my family member had died while on the phone. I could NEVER imagine joking about such a haunting place. He may feel that as a part of the LGBTQ+ community that it is okay (I am queer too), as it was a concentration camp used against the LGBTQ+ community, but new flash: it's never okay to joke about a genocide.
Overall this comedy special lead to me having one of the worst nights of my life, as I was forced to recall painful experience after painful experience. Maybe if you've lived a life of sunshine and butterflies you'll like it, but honestly, I am shook that it is getting the positive response it has been.

Model Comedian Is Queer Resilience with a Punchline
As a queer former theatre kid from the South now living out West, I've been following Caleb for like ever - I feel like we're basically trauma twins with matching jazz hands. Anytime he drops a video, podcast, or TikTok, I'm clicking immediately because I know I'm about to wheeze-laugh like I swallowed a kazoo.
He's always been laugh-out-loud funny, and Model Comedian did not disappoint. It's brash, it's honest, it's gloriously unhinged - and it's hilarious from start to finish. But then he goes and talks about losing his dad and suddenly I'm ugly-crying into my "post-breakup neon hair dye" because... yeah. Same. I lost mine suddenly too. Dark humor is how I cope as well - and Caleb nails that delicate balance between raw emotion and absolute chaos. It's art. It's therapy. It's queer resilience with a punchline.
Honestly, I wish this special lasted another hour. Lord knows I'd watch a 12-part miniseries of Caleb reading the phone book. A big, hilarious win for the they/thems, the Starbucks baristas, and the midnight ballerinas - and I cannot wait to see him take over film and TV next.

Wonderful!
This is the best Christian comedy I've ever seen! His takes are fresh and fully align with my Christian values. I hope his success continues and he is able to get the jet that he deserves! His joke about how people hold up their hands during worship was my favorite! I pray for his continued success.
