On days when I just needed a fun movie, I randomly picked Formula 1 (F1)-and I have to say, I was satisfied. With performances by Brad Pitt alongside Sidna and Molana, Formula 1 is exactly the kind of film you want for a weekend with chips and yogurt dip.
Although on the surface it's about driving, racing, and everything related to Formula 1, it's still appealing even for those who aren't into cars. Beneath it all, the film carries deeper themes like the importance of teamwork, not becoming arrogant, and never underestimating others.
Overall, I enjoyed this movie because it was entertaining, exciting, well-paced, and never boring. I'd give it a 7 out of 10 (its IMDb score is 7.8/10), and I recommend you watch it too.
P. S. After watching the film, I found out Brad Pitt trained for four months just to nail this role. Compare that to Javad Ezzati's acting in the series Zakhm Kari and Vahshi-performances so similar that if you didn't know they were two different shows, you might think you were watching the same one!

Around the middle of watching The Old Boy, when I noticed the references, the layered storytelling, and everything else, I thought to myself: Man, the rest of this writer's films must be worth watching too-I need to get more familiar with his mindset. That's when I looked up Oktay Baraheni and added all his feature films to my watchlist.
Latian is largely part of the wave of films influenced by Asghar Farhadi's About Elly. And if we want to be a bit strict, we could even say that Latian is kind of an incomplete copy of About Elly!
But just like I mentioned about Dance with Me, World, I really enjoy films that deal with human relationships, showing intimacy, the breaking and forming of friendships, and highlighting people's contradictions between words and actions. That's why I enjoyed watching Latian as well.
On top of that, I think the film's script (good, but not great) and its excellent ending give it enough value to be worth watching once.
P. S. To make your viewing experience more engaging, pay close attention to Taha's decisions throughout the film (especially in the fight scene) and notice how similar his final choice at the end is to his very first one.
As I said, I liked this film because of its subject matter (which is one of my favorites), the strong performances by Amir Jadidi and Mohammad Majouni, the charming presence of Parinaz Izadyar and Setareh Pesyani, and the cool ending. I'd rate it a 6 out of 10 (while its IMDb rating is 4.8/10), and I'd recommend you give it a watch too.

While watching this film, I found myself getting bored on multiple occasions, to the point where I picked up my phone several times just to distract myself. Unfortunately, the movie failed to capture my attention or hold my interest. For me, it lacked appeal both in terms of story and in its form and content. The pacing felt uneven, the emotional beats didn't land, and the overall flow seemed flat.
In this particular part of Moana, the main character embarks on a journey to find and reunite a divided people. It's a noble and inspiring goal, one that carries a sense of hope and unity. Interestingly, this theme resonates deeply with what I believe is a pressing need in our own society - the need to bridge divides and bring people together. A story centered on such a concept has the potential to be incredibly powerful and moving.
However, despite the strong thematic core, I felt the execution didn't live up to the promise. The narrative lacked depth, the characters didn't feel as dynamic as they could have been, and the emotional moments often felt predictable. While the animation quality and visuals were undoubtedly polished and vibrant, they couldn't fully compensate for the shortcomings in storytelling.
In the end, Moana simply didn't leave a lasting impression on me. I respect the message it tried to convey, but it wasn't enough to make me truly enjoy the experience. My rating is 5 out of 10, and I personally wouldn't recommend it to others.
