Despite an interesting premise and promising first few scenes the show quickly returns to the mean of modern writing. Plot holes, contrivances, poorly written characters and no logical consistency. Things just...happen...with no real sense of cause and effect, or god forbid clear and consistent character motivations.
This and Romulus are just poor, pale imitations of two of cinemas greatest films in their respective genres. It's not a show for grown ups, or at least grown ups paying any attention. It's just a shallow run through the most basic or tropes and ideas.

Look I love a slow burn. I love characters that are well-written, complex, flawed and reveal them selves slowly.
But this has to be done in harmony with the Universe you are trying to show and the pacing has to be right - a good balance between action/tension and more thoughtful, human moments.
Andor does this very well. BSG, The Expanse, The Last of Us, House of the Dragon too
But this show does not. Its characters are not nearly as interesting as they think they are and they are certainly not as interesting as the monsters that we see so little of. This is a mid, slightly dull human drama.
