Beware of these glowing 10 star reviews, no way this is even close. They gotta be paid or something. Anyways...
There did not need to be a part 2 but here we are. I saw this on screen unseen and at first was excited since I enjoyed the first one.
There is lots of action and some of it is ridiculous. I mean we were laughing and smacking our lips. You could hear the phrase "come on" at multiple scenes. You'll see. The ridiculous overshadows the film.
On the plus side there is some good kills which I enjoyed. But again, this film did not need to be made. If you saw the first you might like this, might.

My daughter picked the film and my wife came as well. I was forced to go and watch this film.
I paid attention and tried to get into it but it's just so slow. Everything the actors do feels off, like it's not genuine. They looked like they were forcing smiles and even the sad scenes felt weirdly off. Plus outs almost 2 hours long, why? Also, how long do I have to watch you kiss? I get it. The kissing scenes were forever.
I could cut out a good 30 minutes of this film. Anyways, I barely laughed, never cried or even felt like it and began to get bored at the end. It's predictable but I guess some of you might like it.

I really enjoyed this film. It's funny and relatable (for a lot of people).
Some of us are just trying to get by and through some tough times. Some of us may have a guardian angel looking over us. Some of us may be unhappily using a pee bottle. Whatever your situation you should be able to relate to the characters in this movie. You should also laugh unless you have a poor sense of humor.
Quite enjoyable, give it a chance.

If you are just a casual Bruce Springsteen fan then you'll probably be disappointed in this film like I was.
My expectations were different and I thought it'd be more lively and entertaining but it's not. It's about a specific time in his life that the die hards will probably appreciate more than me. It's very slow and I mean slow. It's also long.
Now the acting is well done but it doesn't make up for the pacing and length. I thought it could have been so much more and overall it was just ok.
Die hard Bruce fans will appreciate it but casual fans will be looking at their watch.

You gotta be weary when you see some many 10 star and 1 star reviews.
This movie is your average ok sequel. Did it need to be made? No, but it was and I'm a horror fan so I'll watch it.
You get back story and the atmosphere is good. I left the theater feeling ehh.
So if you're a horror fan who liked the original then check it out, why not. If you never say the first one then skip this.

Super slow. This movie could have easily been 90 minutes but for some reason they made it 2 hours long. I was constantly looking at my watch hoping time would move faster.
I don't know who Mark was and I feel like we could have learned more about him, MMA, his addiction and relationship. I just don't know how to feel about the Rock and his portrayal of this man but he really seems bland.
I did like the grainy look of the film and its appearance of rawness. Overall I was disappointed.

This movie just goes and doesn't let up. It's entertaining and non stop. The actors were fantastic and the story is great. This will be nominated for Oscars and it deserves it. Go check it out.
To the haters: you don't like this movie because of your political views and the fact that you cannot separate that from real life is absurd. Get over yourself for a minute, it's so funny how sensitive the fake tough guys are.

It's more of a 4 star movie but since I really like the first one I'll give it a 5.
I was very underwhelmed throughout this film and it was quite predictable. When certain scenes happened you could hear people smacking their lips because of the way they insult the viewer. There is such a lack of dialogue because the writers had no idea what to put in it. When it ends you're going to be relieved and disappointed at the same time.

This could have been much better but it missed the mark on a couple of things. It was unnecessary long and I was getting bored at times. I didn't really connect with any of the characters so that always makes it a struggle. It feels like it drags and when it finally gets there, I was just like, eh.
Sydney Sweeney was good and she played the part well (much better than Americana), so I'll give her that. Jude Law ( I didn't even know it was him) did good as well. Overall it was well acted and the scenery was beautiful and the feeling of isolation worked.
The pacing was just so slow and it could have gotten there much quicker.

I'm squirmy when it comes to body horror and this movie satisfies that squirm. First off, I love Franco and thought he played his character well in this movie. He is great at the awkward moments and there were a few here. His wife (in real life as well) Alison Brie is good as well. So without giving to much away, it made me squirm, some icky moments and good pacing. My negative is they could have given a little extra backstory or origin, something more than what we got. Overall, I really enjoyed it.
I'm surprised by all the "fantastic" reviews on this movie. It's definitely an ok film but in no way is this a 10/10 movie. It's a slow burn and then it goes into character POV, which is really unnecessary. It's too long and there are unanswered questions. I wasn't rooting for any of the characters except the ending scene (and you'll know what I'm talking about). So it's really just average. It could have been so much more. I'll never watch it again but I'm not upset that I saw it.
This is such a fantastic show. I honestly wasn't expecting much when I started it but it's so good. The first episode will draw you in and if you're not emotionally hooked by the 5th episode then I don't know what to tell you. Every character is written and acted so well, it's truly amazing. The strong storytelling and character development is both moving and engaging.
The Spade brothers, who the show is based on, acted so well. It's about so much more than wrestling and you will find yourself hating some characters and absolutely loving the others. I literally screamed my hatred at one of the Spade brothers after episode 5 (you'll see why).
I'm emotionally invested in this show and am excited to see where this goes. Check it out if you love a great story, character development, drama and action.
