Dus released in 2005 directed by anubhav sinha is a good spy thriller with solid storyline and effective performances. Veteran pankaj kapur plays antagonist jamwal with ease, spontaneity and depth and proves why he is considered as a great actor. Rest performances are effective too. Sanjay dutt, shilpa shetty, abhishek bachchan, esha deol, sunil shetty, rajendra sethi and others deliver good performances. Dus specialty lies in unpredictable aspects. We don't know what happens next. Lots of material has been taken from the usual suspects, Hollywood thriller. Scene to scene transformation is the main aspect of the script. A must watch.

Golmaal released in 1979 directed by veteran hrishikesh mukherjee, starring veterans amol palekar, utpal dutt and bindiya goswami is a good film with message and neat and clean comedy. Direction, performances by all, technical aspects, music, script is well handled. A lie led to hilarious incidents forms the crux of the story. The aspect of moustache holds importance in the story. Starting till end the script holds the audience. All scenes are well weaved. Not a single point of boredom is there. Amol palekar and utpal dutt's scenes are a treat to watch. Veteran utpal dutt's mettle as an actor is once again visible. No other actor could have fit the role, I personally think. I personally felt there must have been lots of improvised moments in the script. A must watch.

The eken benaras e bibhishika is a nice thriller with eken sen as detective. Veteran anirban chakravarti delivers brilliant and convincing performance as eken. Anirban does method acting. He portrays eken like a character rather than a heroic detective. His portrayal is totally different from other characters he does. All other performances are convincing. Another veteran saswata chatterjee is convincing as bilal. His commanding persona dominates the screen. His presence is awesome. Story, direction, pace, location, screenplay is good. A must watch.
