Funny and at times hilariously sick. The film has blood, guts, nudity, and laughter. Jewel thieves from Chicago hiding out in Florida, waiting to make their next move. They get distracted by junkies, nosey neighbors and drugs and booze. There is also, let's say the complicated relationship between the two thieves. It does not take long before the police are on the alert to "Aunt Martha" and nephew Stanley. Under the right conditions these two characters could have been worked into a weekly comedy TV series. Filmed in Florida at a now defunct motion picture studio. This film is a grind house camp classic.
A salsa record is discovered by an 11 year old boy named miguelito. People of a certain age in the Latin American world are familiar with his music, however no one has heard from him since 1974. A documentarian sets out to discover what became of miguelito. There is lots of misinformation, anger, and upset when the documentarian and producer of the original album discover what became of miguelito. We find that the boy was discovered at the airport in Puerto Rico singing, and then brought to new York to record an lp with top salsa musicians at the time. The record was not a success and the family went back to Puerto Rico. The record however remains relevant in salsa music, and gets a new look, and a rediscovery 50 years later.
A truly amazing motion picture, about a rarely seen situation where a man's buddox goes rogue, due to being molested by a Spanish humping frog on a Mexican beach. No film has dared to show the agony and the suffering of having lost one's ass. The dr is a genius having dealt with Mothra, Godzilla, and Rodin. The films lead reminded me of a gene wilder type. The action sequences are great with the rogue ass attacking various people. The film had a message about the evils of war and terrorism. I know this film is over 20 years old, but I would really like to see the sequel. I give this an A+++ perfect.
