Wow, American Cryptids is so much fun. I am a huge fan of cryptids. (In fact, I think I saw bigfoot once.) This film hits you from the very beginning. Big punch, great opening credits song (and really cool opening credit animation). The story is tragic and heartbreaking. Love, deceit, and apple pie. Oh, and really cool creatures! The acting was really top-notch - Anne Bobby (Nightbreed), Daniel Roebuck (Rob Zombie movies), and Lukas Hassel (The Blacklist ... loved VanDyke!) were supported by an ensemble of talented performers. Great story, great soundtrack, great cryptids!
