Right from the opening moments, it becomes painfully clear that this film offers nothing refreshing to the genre. The movie kicks off with yet another predictable car chase sequence, the exact type of tired, derivative action scene we've endured countless times in countless other films. Despite the filmmakers' desperate attempts to inject energy through aggressive sound design and flashy editing, the entire sequence feels like a tedious exercise in going through the motions.

The humor throughout falls completely flat, sounding forced and painfully repetitive. What starts as mildly irritating becomes genuinely unbearable after just fifteen minutes, making the remainder of the runtime feel like an endurance test.

While I'm generally not a fan of Natalie Portman's work, she certainly has screen presence but consistently lacks the depth and authenticity that defines truly skilled acting, even she deserves better material than this. Krasinski, on the other hand, is undeniably talented, but as another reviewer astutely pointed out, he desperately needs a solid script to work with. More importantly, he requires a complex, multi-dimensional character that can showcase his range rather than the one-note role he's been saddled with here.

The most frustrating aspect of this entire production is how artificial and strained every performance feels. The acting comes across as wooden and unconvincing, compounded by noticeably poor production values that make the whole enterprise feel cheap and rushed.

Save yourself the time and money, this is precisely the kind of soulless, formulaic Hollywood garbage that gives mainstream cinema a bad reputation. There are far better ways to spend two hours of your life.

It's actually 5 stars but I had such a good laugh because it's so silly when the British do horror/gore movies. It's the same when m Koreans try sci-fi.

The end with all the gore was so silly that it kinda was amusing. Had a good couple of laughs!

The actors are likable but their characters don't really develop. And as a viewer you don't get easily attached to them. The gore is looks like cheap tomato soup blood. But again, have a couple drinks and you'll be fine.

The kitchen tableware fight scene at the end is peak British humor. The silliest thing I've seen in a long time. Thanks for laugh!
