What was the point of this season? It accomplished nothing. The entire thing was a filler. At least in Game of Thrones when they had a filler season it was about setting up the chess pieces for the next big moves. This didn't even do that. Where is the mystery? Why did the Wild Hunt suddenly disappear? "I relinquish my powers." So Cerci, with no explanation used zero magic in the entire season. Even when the most horrific things are happening. Zero magic. I thought the entire point of the show was her amazing powers and the prophecy and now she has no magic? Neither was explained in this season, it makes no sense. Why show her as being crazy powerful and everyone wanting her and now... nothing? The plot with the evil wizard was so over used it was boring.
Yenifer carried this season through on her back and she looks like someone has drained the life out of this poor actress. She was the only reason I kept watching this season. What did they do to poor Jaskier? He was always singing, lighthearted and funny. The entire season he barely sung. Barely made a joke and was very series and sad. Jaskier always had a big role of bringing in heart and humor. But they stripped this away from the character and suddenly it felt like, why is he even there?
On top of that the writers kept pulling in old characters, to the point where they have been over used. The new characters brought in weren't that great either. They had no cool story or depth to add to the series or really even meaning like characters used to mean. They all felt like shallow throw away characters.
Geralt wanting to become a knight? Odd, he never mentioned it in the previous three seasons. Why is it such a big deal now? It feels so out of place, like beyond out of place. The series needs new writers or whoever originally wrote season one. And Liam needs to go. His voice and demur is hard to watch compared to Cavil's.
NOTHING about this season felt good or satisfying to watch. They took one of my favorite series and destroyed it. And Ceri's logic for staying away makes zero sense. Like zero sense. What a let down. What a disappointment.

I loved this series so much. Until season 4. After the first few minutes of this episode I had a hard time continuing. Liam is not the Geralt I know and I do not understand why they casted him. If you're going to change the lead (worst mistake ever) you have to upscale or match. They did neither. Liam's voice is sooo bad compared to Henrys. For three seasons I have listened to that gritty voice. I've watched the neutrality mixed with emotions in his eyes and seen his manly and yet brave demure. And Liam has NONE of those things. His voice is soft. His eyes are soft. His face is soft. His demure is soft. He is "acting" tough and yet not believable in anyway because he seems like a soft, pretty pincushion. Every scene they showed Liam I wanted to fast forward through. It was unbearable. Netflix needs to fire Liam and bring back Henry Cavill, or a similar actor or this series is going to lose all its fans.
On top of that, what is going on with the writing? Everything about this episode felt off. And it doesn't seem to be heading in a good direction. Did they hire a knew writer too? And why does Yenifer look like she's been run through the wringer and left with no makeup on. Even through the battle scenes in the third season she never looked so out of sorts. More then that, how many more mages are we killing off? This is ridiculous. Will there be any left?

I was disappointed with how shallow the series was. I genuinely wanted to watch an interesting animated series of Wakanda's history. Instead Disney quickly slapped together a very quick series with stunning art, but no depth. The quickness of it really shows.
Eyes of Wakanda follows a different person in each episode. We never really get to know these characters very well. It's a quick blip of a story with each one. These characters are tasked with retrieving a glowing purple rock that somehow was stolen or left Wakanda over time.
The visuals and art are fantastic, but with only four episodes, the writers gave nothing deep or even memorable about Wakanda's history or story. They really could have sunk some time in creating full episodes of a deeper story, with layered characters that we get to know. The series would have been more of a hit in my opinion if it would have had more depth to it. Instead it felt like a childs show. I learn't nothing more about Wakanda. And honestly could have done without watching this. It's not memorable. They need the people who created Spider-man into the spider verse to have made this series.
