I think the main problem is combining 2 many genres and almost nailing the comedy one but then switching to a different story that wasn't as engaging and to be honest got boring. Robert id brilliant he looked like Jerry Lewis in his prime just brilliant performance NY him throughout. O believe its Oscar worthy but doubt that'll happen.

The creeper story to me brought from a easy 8 to a 5 it was stupid the actual so called monsters seemed like a really bad child's CGI project. This 2.5 hr film should have been a 1:45 let's give joon a mulligan and let this film be a project not to judge him as a director yet. Parasite was brilliant but after watching the film that inspired it i have to take away all the creativity as it was almost a verbatim reboot!!

TARANTINO is an overrated Director but he is smart he does know excellent actors. If you know movies you know every technique lighting filming angles you guessed it EVERYTHING in his movies has been done and most of it by the great Sergio Leone and as an Italian American I don't get how they get away with calling them Spaghetti Westerns, Italian directors etc so they named them Spaghetti Westerns. So if it was directed by Black people we'd called them watermelon Westerns can you imagine that the world would lose their minds. Also every movie especially Scorsese films portray us like gangsters and saying forget about it. NONE OF MY ITALIAN relatives talk like that act like that. Tarratino directing is completely stolen but like I said I rate this and hateful 8 his best the cast in both is phenomenal.

I never watched the TV series and I didn't see this in the theater as I heard it wasn't very good and subsequently it did bomb that being said it's underrated it's presently at a 6 and it's easily in the 8s and 9s!! Phenomenal special effects decent acting although Emile turned out to be a jinx pretty much everything he was in bombed. He's an average actor but you can't blame him for this not making money. The film is definitely well made decent story all around excellent film also family friendly. This looks like it should be in the disney library. It does combine animation and live action similar to Roger rabbit but with more colors and brightness. Also I found Roger rabbit to be a little dark and OVERRATED this film is superior. So if you're looking for a decent family film do what I did purchase the bluray . I purchased mine brand new for under 10 dollars!!!
