Outstanding Documentary!
19 March 2005
Held Hostage in Colombia is an incredible documentary about three American contractors whose plane went down in the southern jungles of the South American nation. This documentary works because it's all from the eyes and mouths of the hostages. Incredible detail is obviously put into the work, making it very valuable for anyone wanting to know more about the civil war in Colombia. The only drawback to Held Hostage is its sound quality, but that at the same time gives it a real hard-hitting feeling. Its rough copy definitely drives home the impact of the Marxist rebels.

Be sure to check out the special features as well. Follow Karin and Victoria along through America as they attempt to get interviews with the victims's relatives, as well as information from experts.
