It is certainly refreshing to see a film that explores the boundaries of a relationship that has the potential to explode or implode. Shane Davis (Shawn "Ecetera" McClain) has found his true love. One is in rap and the other is in the girl of his dreams the wonderful and beautiful Sasha (Anita Clay). In the mix is Shane's manager the devious Mike (excellent portrayal by James Lentini). Mike is in charge and makes things happen. He has the money, the power, the girls, everything. He handles Shane like a piece of property and controls Shane's world and everything in it including Shane's new love. In the world of rap a crowd is always fresh. In the world of love a crowd is always trouble. And so it goes. The two business partners find themselves on opposite sides of the track as Sasha becomes more and more important in their lives. Decisions must be made. Can the friendship last, will the relationship last? The story and it's actors are compelling as they play a game of lies and deceit, treachery and betrayal. Great acting, great writing and awesome directing leads to an award winning film that is well deserved of it's accomplishments.
